Aspiring chef , Adidas athlete , 2x WNBA champion , Named Player of the Year during all four years of college; twice in Atlantic Sun and twice in Sun Belt. She’s believed to be the first NCAA basketball player, men’s or women’s, to earn player of the year accolades from two different conferences but most importantly she’s Slys mom.
Myisha and Greg sit down with one of the most underrated defenders in the WNBA, Alysha Clark. AC is opening up and talking everything from her relationship to being respected throughout the league defensively.
Alysha starts the show saying very simply that she is NOT married after google says she is.
Fighting back from injury and having doubts how to overcome adversity. She touches on how she’s feeling now with playing a full season after sitting out the previous one due to injury.
Uno got a little spicy, she noted that she deserved to win defensive player of the year in the 2020 WNBA season.
Reason why she left the Seattle Storm after playing 9 seasons with them to head to the Washington Mystics in 2021 free agency.
What Alysha plans on doing after her playing career is over.
