DWade and Candace are so, so cool. Thanks so much for going out there and representing your communities with class, and for sharing a small part of your life through these podcasts and broadcasts. Always a pleasure to listen ❤😁
“Can’t dunk a donut let alone a basketball” 🤣🤣 I’m sorry that was hilarious. But I love this!! I love seeing two chicago legends having life conversations. No way this episode only has 15K views. You got a new subscriber out of me. Love the pod and keep it going! 🫡
As i said in another post, it's his heart OFF the court that made his game ON the court so powerful. Like Pac, that passion is evident in ALL they do, the sport (basketball and football) just benefited from it. I hoped to tell Chuck this one day in person but I'll take this comment section instead. He is not only the answer but the truth. Big ♊️ energy
I absolutely loved this!! 🫶🏽 I could feel the connection through every single conversation. I’m happy to know a little more about my GOATs :) Needa a part ll soon!! You are both the reason why #3 will always be my favorite number! ❤️🔥
55:55 Yo Wilt scored 100 points. The game was in Hershey, PA. Teams used to travel to smaller towns back then for regular season games. Arena leasing in big cities was harder, and it was easy to get the small town fans to come out. Back in those days (1962) there just wasn't the amount of interest in the NBA there is now, and cameras were big, expensive, and delicate. Lots of games werent broadcasted and nothing remains but a simple box score published in the back pages of the local newspaper. Even some of the games that were broadcasted werent archived and are lost forever. And lets just suppose that someone in the stands had a 8mm camcorder. They could record 3-4 minutes of film footage at a time, and then you'd have to stop up and manually wind up the camera when you changed tape. And you'd have no audio, and the footage would degrade over the years if it wasn't stored in ideal conditions. At the end of the day, sure, maybe the statistician was a homer or made a mistake and Wilt only had 98 points or 96 points. I'll accept that. But the game did happen. Think about their opponent too. The Knicks were a moribund team out of the playoffs. Wilt had 3 to 4 inches and 55 to 65 pounds on his two opponents, Darrall Imhoff and Cleveland Buckner. And the pace of the game was super-quick. They had a final score of 169 to 147 with no three point line. So Wilt was basically just shooting a ton of layups over a small, demoralized team while barely even running offensive sets. I've not heard of some people denying Wilts game but I didn't see any of the thousands of people who saw it at the time calling it a conspiracy. Please, give Wilt his respect and let him rest in peace. It's only a matter of time before one of the young talented stars of today breaks the record anyway.
Dwade has loyalty to his true family melo.candace,cp3. But this product is deeper then basketball like Candace said get basketball player plus the person .dwade like Isiah is loyal to Chicago
I would disagree with Candance regarding MJ being the blueprint. Dr. J(Julius Irving) was the blueprint. When you see MJ's game it looks just like Dr. J's game
nah, MJ also patterned after David Thompson, aka skywalker, he had way more acrobatics in the air and grace/style than Dr J, who was much taller hence harder to do that. But MJ is the blueprint for more than just that type of game, also the brand, the shoes, the charisma, the business acumen, the evolution of the game, i.e. Dr J was not the same player after he was not athletic anymore, dr J did not develop the kind of post/fadeaway game MJ developed, Dr J did not play the defense
MJ was popular at a time when the NBA was a lot bigger than when Dr J was on the scene. It’s also how time and the nature of these things happen. MJ had his influences, he influenced people like Kobe, now Kobe’s the influence for a lot of the current players. In 10-15 years time, Tatum/Steph/Ant Man will all be the influences of the era
Recently I watched NBA Finals 2011.I feel pity for DW.Because of the LJ’s bad performance, he didn’t defend well and his offensive skills like shit.In China so many people think if change LJ to any player that the consequence will be different.Love you DW
Just asking, did the NBA players didn't called stereotypes and worst names etc. even players in NFL, NHL, MLB? Not a single one? I like Candace but everyone received criticism. The problem with the WNBA is they can't accept the wrong. They always feel they are always right. Look at the officiating. You can hear worst names in a 3rd world country pickup games...! Women..
Candice knows how to play basketball but she doesn’t know anything about basketball she’s always wrong with her facts and the more she talks about it she doesn’t even sound convincing Ron Harper never played for the Detroit Pistons she makes mistakes like this all the time
My Two fav hoopers period in one room!!😤😤👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Iverson's "I don't give a f**k" attitude was not bigger than Dennis Rodman's.
"No Patrick Ewing. I couldn't stand the Knicks" statement got this episode a 👎🏾.😡😡😡😡. 🟠🔵#Knicks4Life
