It´s from soviet era but in service in eastern block, in states from warsaw pact, today it is NATO, stronger and bigger aliance and this type of MI-24 was in service in Czech armed forces...
@knypl For that reason, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, and Cyprus (up to couple of days ago), still operating these machines. 20 or so years after joining the NATO. Interesting

@@andrigeogiou8420 If you're referring to 11 machines (mi-35p), they are about to be overhauled and modernized to certain extent. The process will take place in Serbia
