Yes! I've got a fantasy rec for you that I loved! I found it out of nowhere with one of those Instagram adds. Anyway... It's "The war God's favorite" by Jenny Fox. The mmc is the third prince to this kingdom and the fmc is a slave that's about to be sacrificed to the Royal family's dragons (every prince has a dragon). So she is led to this arena with a bunch of other slaves to die. While everyone else is running around screaming and pooping their pants about the dragons killing everyone she just stands there staring at the sky and being happy that her suffering will finally be over. So she's the last one standing. The mmc's dragon goes to her and sniffs her. And instead of eating her he takes her and leaves her on the Prince's feet. And the story goes from there. The mmc is obsessed with her AND his dragon is obsessed with her. I devoured that book...
@@happily_ever_april I loved those books! I read books 3 and 4 back in December when the 4th book came out. I couldn't put them down... Every chapter ended on a cliffhanger so I couldn't just stop...
Totally in my fantasy, gothic, cozy mystery era lol One that I really loved was The Dread Descendant y Laruen Cate Leake. Also House of Bane and Blood. One of my current reads. 🤍🤍🤍
