I've noticed in a lot of his videos, he's wearing the same shoes. Live, Studio or otherwise, those shoes. Just speaks to me that all Mr.Clark's songs are very real. Seems like a modest man.

Absolutely Awesome. I saw him this morning on tv and had a little dejavu.......sounds like Jimi......
I'm a 66 year old female who had the privilege of seeing Jimi Hendrix while living in the Haight-Asbury in 1967-69
Mr. Clark Jr. has been blessed with a wonderful talent.

diggin this. saw him live a year ago and wasn't really paying attention due to some certain things.. but damn jesus this boy is a genius. can't wait to see him play and truly give him the respect and appreciation he totally deserves.

I miss this man like you wouldn't believe!!! Miss talking to him after a gig, giving him a hug and waiting for next time... He played at The Continental Club out here in Austin,Texas every Wednesday... He's gotten too big for those days. Will cherish those memories till I die! Happy to see people around the world loving his music!!! Cheers to you Gary!!!

This is not bland. He takes something simple and adds his own twist to it. People have become obsessed with running up and down the neck and equating that to being a "good" guitar player. This is beautiful and refreshing. Going to see this guy March 9 in Houston!!!!!

I saw Gary at Brazil, when he played before Eric Clapton's concert for 50,000 people! He is amazing, I loved "I Don't owe you a thing"! And in the end, he played the encore "Crossroads" with Eric. It was amazing! Thank you Gary for the amazing concert that you did here in Sao Paulo, Brazil!

Come on man. Just because you don't like that genre doesn't mean the music is crap. They have some of the best song writing in recent memory. I love folk, and country, and bluegrass too. So I appreciate all the instruments in the band. Regardless, they are a great band. Anyone who is picked to tour with Bob has credibility. Combine that with talent, they are amazing.

This guy's got it down. Eyes closed, kinda seems like he's in a different dimension as he plays. Its magical. When you see someone that's totally entranced in whatever he/she's doing, it's awesome. This guy has the art of jamming down in a better way that I've seen for a while. Beautifully played, beautifully performed. Kudos, Mr. Clark. I hope you win a bunch of Grammy's and kinda pull a Nirvana revolution on our asses.

Gary Clark Jr. is the most real soulful blues guitarist to be revealed in the 21st Century!! I know one day Gary, Derek Trucks, Jackie Green, Ben Harper, Warren Haynes and a few more will cross each other one fine day! Whether all at once or here and there I pray we can know that and hear the depths of the afore mentioned and the chemistry, Blues on top of Blues play for hours on end!! I would love to know that experience!!!

Texas guitarist Gary Clark, Jr. has been compared to guitar icons like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and his playing is a powerful and inspired mix of blues, contemporary soul, and hip-hop, and when he's rolling at his best, he sounds like nothing so much as a natural hybrid of both the past and the future of the blues. - Spotify
