I have naturally curly hair and am always on the hunt for the next hair color inspiration (I love pravana vivids!). The hard part though is that NO ONE does anything on natural curls. It is always straight hair- and straight hair that has been curled is just not the same! I'd love to see more creative color looks on naturally curly hair.
Nam Nguyen I live in Virginia. I have searched the internet up and down and well, stuff regarding Caucasian naturally curly hair is just really lacking. When it comes to color- it works so different on curls, especially curls like mine. The curls can "eat up" smaller sections of color and stuff.

Simply stunning, as always. Beautiful, thoughtful colour placement and transitioning: using the dark violet nearest the root and under the back of the head, moving up toward the lavender and electric blue (which was, btw, great quick thinking to whip out that gorgeous vibrant blue, adding brightness and enhancing the depth and richness of the violets underneath), and completing the look with a softer, face-framing, cool-toned pink. Wonderful!
Damaries Ss fr, looks like dude missed some spots, that it the only thing about coloring hair.. you get a fine tooth comb and comb the color through because it helps the color catch where a regular color brush would not. Had it been blonde streaks in that as well as the under lay of the top it would have been very pretty. Otherwise most of this video was fun and hopefully nam sees this comment to help him sort of improve for the next time. :)

This reminds me of what one stylist did to my hair. I almost killed him but thankfully we made another appointment for free to fix it. If you want depth, you should do darker roots, you made them just as bright as everything.
It's good it faded..that's the diversity & fun of "Fashion Shades!" Yer can change color like yer panties! " lol And no need to be pre - bleaching it first, just 'pre- BEACHIN ! COOL...;-)
hey great job on the color! I wanted to ask you what type of crimper did you use on her hair toward the end, before you did the braid? I bought a crimper for just that and it never seems to come out right!!

It is so hard to get these colors to translate on camera. We usually take pictures outside since natural light seems to help get a truer reflection in pictures. great video.
do you coach for an FCPS (fairfax county) school? I saw the badge and I thought I read that but I live in that area as well as cheer there and it just caught my eye, could be wrong c:
I really wish someone would do learning videos NOT in fast mode, in regular mode and no music. I have the new Pravana colors and the video they have is awful. Fast mode and such loud music. How do I learn the techniques, if you are going so fast. LIke how you color, how you lay the papers, what you use. How much? Did you lighten before?
How long did this take? I also want to be just like you and guy tang, since you guys are both Vietnamese and I am too:))) You guys are my inspirations, including my cousin:)

Guy Tang rarely ever uses fast mode, he does tutorials pretty much. especially with a lot of balyage.
