Awesome models minigt ,corvette and lambo are amazing ,greenlight also shows good side in your last video ,mustang 1/4 mile ,police f100 ,escort texaco and corvette c8 are great .
Greenlight is a very frustrating brand as they can be absolutely fantastic on one model and the next is full of obvious issues. The good ones can be so good though that it always overrides the inevitable disappoint from the misses.
Thank you brother just started watching and that your request I became an instant subscriber like the way you pop the cars open I hate blister packs and collectors that think just because they found a dollar Hot Wheel with rubber Wheels they just hit the jackpot now they're never going to open that dollar
That mini gt Porsche 911 casting is one of my favourites ever from that brand. Looks so right. But I won’t get the red or yellow versions cos I feel the standard Carreras don’t look as good in bright solid colours unlike the gt/rs models. Maybe a black or grey will suit those Teutonic lines better. I wish there would make a version of the 911 featured in the Bad Boys for Life movie. Just an ok movie but definitely the car was a highlight . Was also very impressed on how fantastic that C8R looks. The grey , yellow and red all come together to create a real striking livery. The AW Silverado also merits a mention. Nice
Nice selection Karl, seeing the QC issues on Greenlight I have lost a little incentive to crack all of mine open, favourite for me even though there are loads out there was the Auto World Square Body in Brown & Gold...all the best, Phil.
The bad thing is you can’t really appreciate Greenlight in the package. Unfortunately it seems in order to get the wins you just have to accept the misses which I have to think is going to hurt them at some point given the quality that is coming out from the HK brands. If one of those brands starts to really nail American muscle Greenlight will be in trouble.
Hi, love mini gt and tarmac works, due to them being expensive to get in the UK I only have one tarmac works porsche model, this is because u can only get them from ebay mainly from sellers in the US and China, this makes postage expensive, the tarmac works model cost £30, regards Graham.
Yeah Tarmac Works would be tough to accept at that price point. I don’t buy very many of the Hobby64 level Tarmacs but I absolutely love the Global64 line and like Mini GT that balance of detail vs handleability is the sweet spot for me .
I absolutely love your videos,I’m a Hot Wheels collector as that’s my price area, but love the MIni GT range. Greetings from the UK,keep,up the fantastic videos and work.
Thanks Nick, glad you like them. Mini GT is hard to resist as is the stuff coming from Tarmac Works Global64 which has a very similar price and quality.
The escort Cosworth is a good-looking piece I have a large scale version and the Paganis are cool I have the Pagani Zonda R from Tarmac works they are good-looking models thanks for sharing 👍👍
I assume you mean Tarmac works. I never have any issue with Mini GT boxes but that Global64 packaging drives me nuts as it’s so poorly conceived. I believe they’re going to replace it with window boxes and I really hope they execute those better.
So many nice castings in this haul. My highlights would have to be: Pagani Huayra from Global 64, from Greenlight the '69 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, the 2021 Mustang Mach 1 and the '95 Ford Escort Cosworth, from Auto World the '83 Chevy Silverado Fleetside (looks great in brown) and the LB Works Huracan and Corvette C8R from MiniGT. As for Greenlight, i like the brand as well, but they need to do better Quality Control or they might lose collectors to other brands in the long run and the competition in 1/64 scale is fierce. Thanks for showing these.
Yeah Greenlight QC is a real problem, there is a lot of potential competition coming out of Hong Kong which have much better quality, if those brands ever decide to target American cars Greenlight could be in trouble. I wish they would wake up and fix the issues but it doesn’t seem that they care.
Love the videos! Your weekly updates are now part of my calendar. Some of the pieces you find are simply incredible! Works of art. I ms have missed it but could you do a full walk through your collection and how you display them? Lastly, where/how do you do your buying? Peg hunting? EBay?
Wow, cool to hear thank you. 🙏🙂 Lately most stuff comes from ebay or other online sources since stores have been so empty but it will be a mix if I can actually find anything good in stores. I haven’t done any kind of overall video yet but I’m sure that will come at some point.
I have to agree about greenlight but also iv had issues almost with every premium brand but more so with greenlight it's not the first time I heard about the quality issues auto world definitely has way less issues and Johnny lightning thanks for sharing I love premium cars
Yeah any mass produced item can certainly have issues and some small set of problems is no big deal in general. Unfortunately Greenlight has more than a small set of problems and some of the issues, like constantly smudged windows, just point to a flawed manufacturing process that if they actually cared about QC should be easily rectified. I still love their models and keep buying them despite the endless issues.
Hi! I recently subscribed to your channel. Your videos are absolutely amazing! Your reviews are fun to watch and very honest. I also have a question to you: do you also have errors sometimes at other brands than greenlight? Because I have a very small paint error on the rear wing of my Mini gt nissan gtr lb works. Is that common on brands like those?
Cool thanks for subscribing. All brands have QC issues from time to time, and it’s hard to be perfect on anything mass produced, but Mini GT is really quite good in my experience so problems are very rare. I used to think M2 had the worst quality but now I think it’s Greenlight followed by Johnny Lightning and then M2. When Greenlight is good it’s very good so I still buy it despite the problems. I also get more problems because I buy cases and can’t inspect the cars in advance but I find the fun of opening a case out weighs the quality issues.
Absolutely fantastic 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥✌️😎
Great show, thanks for sharing. Cheers...
Thanks Dahlstar 😎✌️

That 911 is one of my favorites as well and it’s a reasonable decision to pass on the other colors as the Silver is still the best version to me too.
@@StingerDiecast @bravo73 I agree with both of you. also the yellow is often subject to paint defects (a rare occurrence for Mini GT)
Great haul Karl. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Bog. ✌️😎

Love those Fords and Mercury. Mustangs are awesome, especially that Drag version. Great video!
Yeah that drag mustang is pretty sweet for sure.

Thanks Loonie. Have you seen the Sierra Cosworths from Inno64? I’m a big fan of these Tarmac Paganis and looking forward to seeing what comes next.
I have found that by trimming the Clamshell of Mini GT at both ends and at the bottom with sharp sissors it will fit back into the box.
I assume you mean Tarmac works. I never have any issue with Mini GT boxes but that Global64 packaging drives me nuts as it’s so poorly conceived. I believe they’re going to replace it with window boxes and I really hope they execute those better.
@@StingerDiecast yes.
@@StingerDiecast worst packaging is TLV, damaged the box and there goes 10% of the resale value...a very stress inducing brand
Very informative nice! would loved to watch more

Yeah idk how there QC hasn't hasn't heard about the issues . But I still buy them as well I'm addicted to diecast
The Dodge Durango looks sick 🔥
It looks pretty good. Does is it have any QC issues?
Mine looks pretty good but thats the problem with their QC being so inconsistent … who knows what another example will be like.
