craxy the gears came apart i just had the same thing happen on my outlaw was those black bone gears im wondering if they had a bad batch ive seen a few people have thier gear do that in the past 4 months nice video
You know what, I've been noticing that anything more than a 46cc, these 1/5 scale parts really don't hold up as good as you think. On my Outlaw hybrid w/ Taylor 50gt , Taylor caseing w/black bone gear blew up and blew out the caseing. Got it fix and now I'm having problems with breaking wheel axle pins and breaking wheel axles. $6k car and I can't even injoy it but, I have a blast with my Kraken Vector.5 and Rovan Baja and go home happy, and can go back out again and again and again before anything happens that needs attention. I'm ready to sell it now, 7-tanks running time on it. I'm not spending no more money on it to repair it, it's a money pit !
I can really feel the frustration in this video,i just received my Vesla and feel like they really went cheap on a few things, very Disappointing. Following your progress and also look forward to seeing it finally get some run time. Nice build 💥💯🤟
aww damn man, all that torque.. those gears!!. I made sure before I even run mine to get the steel gears, I'm waiting on them now in the mail. I heard guys destroying them pot metal gears. But, you should be good to go after that. Also those arms look like they will look good on there. Are you gona anodize them. I may grab some for my rig.. At this point, I have paid more in parts than the cost of a new rig 2x over lol..
@@CrucialRC not sure if you got to replace the gears yet for the tranny, but that differential was a problem getting it apart for me. need heat for sure to loosen every single screw on it then the spider gears are held in by screws too. smdh unexpected nightmare pulling that mug apart.. lmao but I got it done.. thank the lord, no stripped screws.. Im really looking forward to you running this rig..
Awesome blown tranny reveal. Doesn't surprise me as the stock pot metal gears might hold up to a G320 and no way a Taylor RC 50 Supreme. I look forward to the rebuild video.
Looks like a total rebuild on this one Where's all the grease at I don't see no grease in there do you think maybe you were just running a lot of power and the gears were heated up and then they exploded looks to me like a lack of grease

Thanks no they were all stock gears. I had the Vesla before any aftermarket parts were available. Only replaced the layshaft with a Blackbone one.

You know it man, steel gears are a must! My guy that I used to get anodized parts done no longer does it. I may powdercoat them

There was kraken grease on the gears. It is like a yellow grease. Hard to see but it was there. 1M diff fluid in the diff.
