It's over, I started playing in 2018 and people even before then were complaining about the state of the game in terms of bugs. I guarantee we wont get any substantial fixes to the game because we never have.
I could not agree more with everything said! im glad you made a video on this situation. i was going to, but it really would just be repeating what you have said. Looking forward to whatever new things are ahead for you! i also am not doing a whole lot of Conan moving forward. ill still do a bit. but yeah, you get it!
Me and the whole crew moved to Soulmask and no regrets. Not just the game but the dev teams is everything Conan never was. At this point if we never play Conan again it'll be fine. Funcom did everything in their power to drive us (the entire playerbase) away. Especially PvP, which is the only moded you should be playing anyway, you filthy casuals. Ngl it's great to see Funcom finally having to live with their choices. Also notice who signed that post btw... someone got fired lol
I've now said this on other Conan YT channels and I'll say it here. FC is going to pull the plug on the old consoles and rebuild this game for the new ones. Then turn around and REsale this game for 70 bucks or so.
From your rant, I can imagine you are the kind of guy - who, if you won a million dollars, would be annoyed you didn't win 2 million dollars. What do you want from this guys? Really. A gizillion people asked them to focus on fixing the game and when claim they will do that, you are still negative. Come on, let's give them the benfit of doubt.
The game is 8 years old. I just picked it up to check it out on sale. It has been riddled with bugs such as endurance not regenerating. Companions just... disappearing permanently. Logging in dead. I research these problems and realize these have been listed since 2018. No serious studio would do this.
My thoughts exactly when my buddy sent me the letter. Day late and a dollar short. Their DEI science experiment cost the company and they lost. Until they replace the shitty staff, the game is dead. I’m actually reluctant to buy dune because of the disaster that Conan became.
People are just blind they just admit they just want our money where did that money go to Dune Awakening which also is gonna have exploits and bugs in which its gonna fail and they gotta find a different servers provider Gportal is the worst
Conan is one of the greatest survival games of all times in this genre with an awesome story to tell but Funcom doesn't treat the game with love that it deserves. This game could be as big as Fortnite or GTA Online if you put the right people in place to use their creativity to make this game great. Dune is gonna fail, we all know that!! They can't fix simple bugs on Conan to keep the game playable, but they are supposing they can keep a game playable like Dune that has big worms attacking you from underground, large scale PVP battles for resources and flying mounts? OK, Funcom!!
