noticed it in one of your last video's too some mic chipping
It's sort of inconsistent, and I could be totally wrong, but it sounds like it could be an issue with your noise gate? If you have one set up, that is. Like it seems like it was cutting out at times when it would make sense for a microphone to not pick up a sound. Like a very soft-sounding S or a very mellow "m." That kind of stuff doesn't get picked up as easily by the mic, so I wonder if that might be what's going on.
Something like that?
But again it was inconsistent, because there were many times when you said the same words where it didn't do that.
I'd just check your settings, maybe adjust the distance of the microphone, do some other tests. If you do have a noise gate or one of those things set up, watch your recording software as a test and just speak normally as you would any other video and watch the sound levels. If you notice an immediate stop in the audio level, I would note if it's a pattern with certain letters or phrases.
If you can't seem to find a pattern, it could just be a mechanical thing, like a faulty connection. I had a Yeti mic whose port over time became quite loose, and eventually it got to a point where the cable could just slip out if I moved the microphone even a little bit. So it could be something like that, too.
But considering how infrequent it was, and how it seemed to happen in those instances... I really would bet on something software related. But this is all just a guessing game! I don't know what your setup is like or anything. I hope you get it figured out, though!
I did want to say that I noticed you have started to begin your videos at the same volume as the rest of the video, which I appreciate. I think I understand the intent behind starting the video with a lower volume and then gradually cranking it up throughout. Was it to try to have a more relaxing introduction and not such a jarring shift when you go between videos? Because that is a good idea. But personally, I actually found it more cumbersome, because sometimes the sound would be so low at the beginning that I wouldn't have any idea what you were saying, and I'd have to turn it up, but then turn it down as you turned yourself up... it was quite a trial sometimes. There was one video in particular where I had to basically play ping-pong with my volume knob all the way throughout!
So I appreciate that it seems like you have adjusted that. I think that you probably are appeasing a lot of people with that change. But again I think I understand the intent of why you were doing it originally. Your videos are already calming enough, though. Your voice has a cadence and tone that's already extraordinarily relaxing, especially when put against the whole of TH-cam. You have nothing to worry about with regards to your videos starting out as jarring and turning people off as a result!

I laughed when I saw the article on how some tiny stuff was ridiculous plus how interesting they nerfed the crew members to no longer benefit/support a racer's weakness anymore.
Sad to see Ortensia and Oswald getting nerfed heavily and the fire trail, oh well on that

They didn't speak to the crew stat changes nor the crew ability changes here, Hope on monday they take a look at that.(aka Chip and Dale not being top speed)
There actually 14 crews with wrong stats and/or skill bonus. I posted the list in discord and Modmail hopefully they fix it asap. Mickey and friends need it the most chip and dale, pedro are the most important.

How come you havnt brought up the fact that there are no voice lines for 3 of the new characters. I saw you upload new videos but like I'm surprised you didn't bring up the no voices at all. Like it's just crazy to me that they only gave voices to Ralph and venlope

@Kage.Williams well they havnt addressed it is the thing. I get this video is talking about what your saying but that's why I'm commenting because I havnt seen any vids of his talking about this.
I discussed it a bit on stream, and also in my newest video where I complete the entire vault pass.
I may make an entire video on it at a later date, but I’ve been more focused on covering new and making guides for new content.
But basically my thoughts summed up: it’s awful, a really bad change that shouldn’t have been made. I think some people are overreacting but it definitely deserves heavy criticism. Hopefully they’ll add voices at a later time
@skyliner_productions I just think it feels awkward to have all the other racers have voices and these three don't. Even though the voice is like small detail too game. Small details that are taken away can make a big difference. And even though they have cheesy lines they make it sync with the game. Some are pretty good funny phrases from movie that mix with game. I can maybe see that they maybe wanted to launch this and didn't want to delay it if voices were maybe needed for 3. So hopefully later they add them. It just feels awkward with them being speechless.
Nerfs are cool and all but I just can’t help but hate how this makes grinding to max level skills just feel pointless the more they reduce the effectiveness of higher level moves. I know
It’s frustrating for lower level players but if the matchmaking was more efficient about prioritizing finding opponents of similar levels I think some of those gripes go away. And if you do get in matches against higher level kits then just pay attention to that and understand why rather her than assume it’s “OP” but don’t get me wrong some things can actually be legit op

Regardless of buffs and nerfs, has anyone noticed changes in the overall controller? It seems like the handling of the karts has become stiffer.
Yes. 100%. It's like driving on ice - there's a delay in the inputs, and when it kicks in, the game over-compensates. So we aren't able to turn or avoid obstacles as sharply as before. It's become very sluggish. It has nothing to do with crew either, because it's felt in Regulated.
I haven't noticed it.

I LOVE how they gave Buzz a buff with his top speed and handling! Especially the handling! He needed it so bad! And I have him maxed out now and now he’s gunna be such a breeze but very competitive in MPR
ariel's boost was to ostrong? I've literally never noticed the speed boost from her having all 4 relics....
Something patchnotes don't mention (they only speak of skills) is that the stats they boost have been shuffled so crew that used to boost top speed doesn't necessarily boost it now. Mickey and Friends collection got hit with it quite noticeably as I had to replace Pedro and Chip for something else...have to look over all racers. Also now it's a no-brainer to put on epic crew if you have it, best boost now and across the board.
They nerfed Jasmine
As a Mulan main, I am happy that the devs gave Mulan a much needed buff in her speed stat.
Fix the Felix King Candy and sergeant

I’m honestly glad about the backwards fire trail, Ortensia AND Oswald getting buffed up, because they DEFINITELY needed it. I felt like those two characters in particular were weak, and I also like the increas of Randall’s speed, I felt like he was INCREDIBLY slow.
One question, if I buy the pass now will I also have the pass in part 2 later or not?

Honestly whats the point of grinding or even spending money to get high levels if its just going to be nerfed?
As the one single Ortensia main out there, the nerf for her have left me in shambles. I was honestly hyped to see if her flowers were fixed or better yet, if she got any buffs since she's the worst character right now. It just kinda sucks, I'm happy a few other characters I like got some nice buffs but having a character I main and want to get higher ranks with get demolished and STILL be the worst character in the game even after some buffs is insane.
I really hope they add more balance changes in the future, Ortensia really needs them (for my own sanity lol)

Theyre somewhere in the middle. I like the changes but I think the game as a whole is less balanced, largely due to the crew changes. But a meta switch up is nice regardless
@@skyliner_productionsthe problem with these changes is that the meta is literally completely the same. All the top speed racers will thrive while the high handling characters get washed down the drain.
The crew member change really destroyed a lot of characters.
Only annoying thing is that Gameloft still no fix or make a enhancement to the Clock item.
Still that item sucks and works properly when feels like it which is hardly ever. 😂
Cool changes but undercooked patch notes. Give us numbers and exact values. Also, some reasoning behind some of the changes.

The no voice actors is actually making me not wanna play, without their voice they just dont have charm or personality, really heartbreaking
These crew changs are god awful
with the nerf in crews I believe that the gap from the f2p person to the p2w person is smaller
As an Ariel main, I'm glad they just nerfed the charged activation of her skill, I don't really use it
Charged was the reason she was top character in game.
@@humanoid52 I find the speed boost of keeping the 4 relics better and more useful than using the charged one, I mean yeah, you get a lead but Ariel's normal top speed is not great so people can catch up with her easily
@@Headstrong9128 It can be used to steal wins. I had times where I was 6th, used the charged and got 1st.
They did Jasmine dirty!
Also, Princess Jasmine's top speed bug was fixed. Her(maxed out) and maxed out top speed Crew Members had a bugged top speed of only 154MPH, she now does 157MPH.
