The Curies atacking Tokyo Godzilla-style is the perfect example old Simpsons joke when they mixed high cultural facts with pop culture, instead of just featuring random celebrity cameos😅
The last episode of season 8, the boot camp episode, is exactly when The Simpsons truly died. The show was utter brilliance (sure, some episodes in this run were better than others) and the subsequent seasons had some episodes that were _okay at best,_ but the golden era was gone after that. At least we got what we got so nostalgia driven nerds like myself can obsessively rant about it for decades to come.
Skinner is right, Valentine’s Day is no joke, but his traumatic flashback was kinda funny and how Bart reacted in the end 7:54 “Johnny… Johnny….JOHNNY!!!” “Cool, I broke his brain”
Season four was when the show started to get good. 1 to 3 are fine, but it was a mixed bag and a lot of episodes either didn't age well or had their moments, but weren't that great overall.
Actually, neither Marie Curie nor Pierre Curie died from radiation poisoning. Pierre died in a traffic accident, and Marie died from cancer. While undoubtedly her lifetime working with radioactive substances was a causative factor, she did not die from the immediate effects of radiation exposure.
She died of leukemia in 1940. By the time of her death, she no longer had use of her hands. Many years of handling radioactive stuff had reduced her hands to withered claws
The place I work at now has stuff like "Silly Hat Day" and shit like that, a lot of them are around holidays like Xmas and stuff. Anyways my job had to start offering prizes because no one was actually participating in these events. Some folks do now, but it's mostly the kiss asses.
the fact that you think this is an appropriate place to squeal about politics is a simpsons video about a season from 1994 is, charitably, mentally ill. Please go be an aspie somewhere else
“She’s in the can. Go away “ is something I could definitely see my late father saying.
The noise Homer makes when he hits the mattress always makes me laugh. 6:52

Ok but also they were really good about the celebrity cameos in the early seasons. The George Harrison cameo is hilarious to me every time
Not to be a killjoy, but Pierre Curie fatally injured in a carriage collision
Yeah, you know their Asian when those characters are white instead of yellow.
Flanders got done dirty
A good man he was
The house that Hans Moleman is pulling being Edgar Allan Poe's birthplace is one of the greatest setups ever.
Ah. The glory years.
5:41 ...the complete lack of music or sound effects - just the battle cries of nerds.
The half-assed approach to foundation repair - a bit that always will be funny
Simpsons season 3-7 is the greatest 5 season run in the history of television.
2 to 8 is my list and 4,5,8 are my top 3 seasons.

I kind of want that moose-antler hat >_>
I will never forget the news after Lisa's speech at the stadium. Nerds plummeted in self-defense
"Nerds Pummelled in Football Melee"
I guess you will forget it since that's not what the news actually said.

3:49; Pierre Curie actually got ran over by a carriage.

You're crazy....
The early 1990's Simpson's were the Best.
"...there's William Henry Harrison: (cheerfully) 'I died in thirty days!'" 🤣
I always wondered why anyone would want to move the birthplace of Edgar Allen Poe...

5:37 Revenge of the Nerds.
Haha why did Homer become idiotic right after his voice changed? LOL
7:33 🤣
Simpsons seasons 1 through 10 were the golden age. 😅

I'd watch a movie about 900 foot tall Marie and Pierre Curie turning atomic and evil and wrecking Tokyo. I'd watch it twice
4:3 as classic simpsons intended!
You could post random sentences from season 4 and I'd probably enjoy watching it.
2:39 life in a call center I usually pour Johnny walker
Least believable thing is that Troy would do anything for 6hrs
Homer’s voice suddenly going into puberty at the worst possible time just kills me.

Pierre was only hit by a carriage because radiation exposure left him severely disabled. From what I remember, he could barely walk unassisted.

Should've played "She's a lady" instead.
