    Congrats….reminded me of when I first picked up my new 2006 STI…..black with gold bbs rims. Couldn’t believe how fast it was…miss that car

      How much did you pay for it? All the dealers around me are not willing to sell them without 10k markup

    • @CarQuicks
      @CarQuicks ปีที่แล้ว

      @@damont99 no markup. Aside from a random dealer add-on, which turned out to be a cargo net and homelink mirror, I actually wanted.
      But I had to drive 6 hours away to get it. So I encourage anyone to move their search far out of their immediate area.

    Maybe the first I've seen without the performance package. Any specific reasoning for opting out, or just due to availability?

    Not a fan of BMW partnered with Toyota, but I guess since they are the only incline 6 still built, it fits. Just hate that like you do lol very nice Corolla, 👌

    Congratulations brother. I see this is the Core edition without performance pack option. Do you plan on adding better than stock Mechanical LSD's down the line? Saving up for one myself but i plan to pay the extra $1200 for PP. This little car is a dream come true for us Hatchback lovers.

    • @willgetitdone15
      @willgetitdone15  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It wasn’t my plan to get one without the LSDs. This is what became available to me. I’m already in contact with the dealership again about getting my hands on a Circuit which is what I really wanted from the start. But who knows, I may stick with this and add some beefy diffs to it.

      @@willgetitdone15 sounds good. They have some beefy LSDs from videos I’ve seen in Japan 🇯🇵 Core edition is money well spent.

    How much over MSRP did you have to pay?

    • @willgetitdone15
      @willgetitdone15  ปีที่แล้ว

      $0. I found a dealer here in AZ that doesn’t mark them up. Three others dealers here in the Phoenix area are marking them up $10-25k over. But I paid $39k for mine.

      @@willgetitdone15 How much was it out the door? I bought a SE GR 86 for 40k but then again thats the highest trim… lowkey regretting it because I feel like a full Toyota engine would’ve been better.

    • @WillDoItMyself
      @WillDoItMyself ปีที่แล้ว

      @@uncleiroh8665 So before taxes, $39k. Yea, Toyota did a great job on these cars. I highly recommend trying to get your hands on one.

      I'm guessing it would've cost more to develop, too. They already had the tried and tested engine from the Yaris, so it made sense to carry it over into the Corolla.
