You came into this game with a serious face. With each upload you’ve continuously proved that you aren’t here to fuck about or play games with peoples ass. You come with straight to the point facts and no bs. Keep it up man! Shout out to Savagegeese for the recommendation btw. 🤙🏾
😅😂 man thank you so much I really appreciate your kindness and support! I’m just grateful that I can be of use to the automotive community. Once again, can’t thank you enough supporters like you make this possible. Mr Goose is def legit one of the few keeping it real out here.
I asked my accountant if I could afford to buy a supercar. He looked through my profit & loss statement and suggested I buy a 1:64 Diecast scale model instead 🚗
Die cast today Senna tomorrow 👍
Damn, not even a 1:18 😂
Even if I didn't think a video on McLarens would be relevant to me, your mention of institutions refusing to lend on 2016/older is great to know should I some day explore the used route and attempt to dodge this inflated asset bubble. Keep these awesome videos coming!
Thank you my friend yea it's very unfortunate what's going on in the car market and how strict banks have gotten
Your financial advice in this video, including small things like opportunity cost of buying the car, that most people would not think to mention, was just overall amazing!
Glad it was valuable my friend!
I think I will pop out and buy one after I’ve finished my pie and mash .

Another informative vid!
Thanks again!
I own a 19 spider. Considered everything but mainly a turbo s, r8, nsx or Huracan. Got CPO with 2 years, bought an extra year. No real issues, McLaren quirks. Ride is amazing, super comfortable. Seats are stiff, about the only complaint. Hydraulic steering is unmatched. Power is incredible even to only 6k rpm. Spider experience is hard to match as well. All around incredible package. Instead of a lower mileage car with 4 owners, bought a one owner car with higher mileage. Saw all the records and nothing major. I think this is the better way to go. Also my black car seemed to have more attention to panel fit than many cars I’ve seen. Acura nsx was preferred, but so few available that finding one fully equipped was almost impossible. While you talk about pricing, I’m not sure what trade value will be like but I expect it’s not going to be good. I’ve had many 911s and BMW’s but this has been the most enjoyable car so far.
That is awesome my friend well done and massive congrats on your 570 spider purchase. Really glad you got it CPO to protect yourself and car had good maintenance history.
Like you said, the car is the complete package especially as a hard top spider, doors going up, incredible turbo power, steering, etc. Enjoy!
Good video. I own 2018 570s Spyder, a few minor issues so far after two years of ownership and 10k put on the car. Interior is fine imo, there are certainly nicer but oh well. But I didn’t buy the car for the interior. The car is an absolute blast to drive. The steering, handling, and power are what you want out of a super car. Add in the convertible hardtop, amazing exterior looks, dihedral doors, and you have a really nice package. Like with any used car, find one that is in good condition and clear vehicle history to reduce any potential issues. And yes, maintenance and any issues will cost you money. It is a McLaren after all, set expectations appropriately for a car that costs ~$250k new.
Massive congrats my friend on owning a great model year and Spyder version of this car, you certainly got a proper package.
These cars really do offer everything that one seeks in a Supercar. I agree, if people come in with the right expectations and pay up for warranties, this will be a great Supercar choice.
Thanks for the vid
You're welcome my friend
Thanks for the info, looking at one of these or a Ferrari ff once the 6 months on my c8 z06 is up!
Nice! Yea Ferrari FF is sweet that’s the cheapest modern NA V12 Ferrari new C8 Z06 is awesome too!
Absolutely love the Z06, welcome to make a review on it sometime. Just doesn’t make sense for me not to flip it and move the money into something else but worried about maintenance expenses on a McLaren or Ferrari, everything on the Z06 is under warranty.
Wouldn’t mind a newer r8 either, the v10s seem to be way more reliable then Ferrari or McLarens just feel like a somewhat lateral move from a Z06
Yea I hear you my friend if you can make the profit that would be great plus you got to experience an awesome vehicle.
And yes everything I discussed in this vid regarding warranties only cover the repairs, maintenance can set you back about 200-300 a month just to be on the safe side and depending on what service is done.
When I drove the Huracan EVO I wasn't terribly excited by the motor but yes it does seem to be a solid engine and an R8 is brand new.
@@MeynMotorGroup R8 is unfortunately discontinued and would have to buy used as well the final ones at dealerships now
How reliable are the "base trim" Huracan's? 🤔
See the NHTSA website if lambo doesn't pop up just look at the R8 instead
Will this car appreciate in value? Any chance?
Probably not since it's just turbo car like everything else. To stand out as an exotic it's gotta have an NA engine, manual, or just be a Ferrari 😅
very nice and very fast English Cars but unfortunately a lot of electric issues and build quality issues with the parts in and on the Car, normally you must expect perfection for the price where Mclaren want´s for his Cars but in the end it was English Cars, very normal. Thanks Kevin 😀
Yea my friend interior was a pretty big let down for me and yes cars should honestly be perfect at this price point heck they should be perfect at 50k
@@MeynMotorGroup sadly to pay $ 50k for a Car is these days not a high number anymore, I think only at the most Japanese brands you can expect a very good build quality at this price point.
Yea it's crazy how they made $50k a normal price point, 10 years ago buying a 30k car was a big deal now that's just fodder
@@MeynMotorGroup they are a few compact cars out there, where the dealers want over $ 50k for it 😅, it´s nuts.
@@alengreen589 sad world out there
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
McLaren should build an suv
They really should! Would take the brand to the next level
You lost me at $25k for a clutch. Going to stay Porsche.
To be fair Porsche isn't much better some pdk repairs can be 7-10k full replacement of the PDK is over 30k all these cars are expensive outside of warranty or free maintenace period.
how long does the mc Karen clutch last? or average life of the clutch? @@MeynMotorGroup
Yo bro 🫡🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
Hey bro thanks for dropping in would love to get your thoughts on the looks of this one!
@@MeynMotorGroup No problem bro and I got you 🫡🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
Buy a whole life insurance policy - fund it with your money, take a loan out from it and pay interest on it. Wtf? Just buy the car.
I don’t blame you, I was the same way. Took me like 2 years to understand it.
96 months!?? Holy shit. Just admit you can't really "afford it"!! Lol. 🙄
96 months is what your friendly neighbor is taking out on a 3-row family eco turd nowadays.
Supercar loans stretch out as far as 180 months...
