Hi from Australia. We did Italy and Switzerland 5 years ago. Agree with you about Milan, we weren’t keen on it either. We rented an apartment for a week but spent most of our time out of the city. We took a day trip to Lake Como, another to Cinque Terre and an overnighter to Prague, we loved all of that. Back in Milan we explored the city but we just didn’t find much to like about it, we did enjoy seeing The Last Supper and a couple of other icons, unfortunately the Duomo was closed which was disappointing. We did the Bernina Express and also loved it, we’ve been on many trains but this was by far our favourite. While there we also did the Glacier Express which we loved too. I enjoyed your video, it brought back great memories of Switzerland which is a beautiful country.

I totally missed the last supper and it was sold out when we tried which was a bummer but lake como was stunning, loved cinque Terre (was in “northern Italy” vid I did) but sooooo wanna go back! Colorado resident right now, and grew up down the front range by the prisons. Love going up to Aspen and Glenwood springs. Your train excrusion reminded me of that area and Ouray.

My yellow triangle swimsuit 🤣🤣🤣 my family camps ouray each summer now and I met them two years ago with my lil camper! Just no million dollar highway for me 🫣 Not sure your age but I went to Kennedy HS and graduated from Gateway in Aurora in 87.

As far as Viator-no BUT… it’s a bit of finagling as the way we did it… you’ll need to make your own way to Tirano THEN get a ticket for the Bernina Express then take your way again from Tirano back to your start. I’m all for cheaper (not a lot I believe) but worth it??? Just seemed like Viator really had this down and we literally walked across the street from our hotel to get the bus! Easy schmeasy!

@@lindashah3420 no problem at all!! Roy actually has been retired for years and I closed my 23 yr old business about 6 months before we left! I had wanted to retire in 2021 but then signed up for the cruise 10/2021 and figured I’d use out embarking day as the end. I had two years to plan and prep for both leaving and closing my business. All fell into place exactly as it was suppose to! 🥰🥰
