Nah, I'm not that good with the Trick Counters in this game. So, I can't give you tips as I'm having troubles with Legendary Difficulty myself as well. I highly recommend you to just steal the rock by reaching it which is much more efficient...or...you can start by practicing your timing and aiming if you really need them Trick Counters. Start by playing on Medium setting first so you can get comfortable countering. Then, amp up to the Legendary setting whenever you're ready.

You need to aim your Trick Counter when the opponents are during their tricks. Pay attention to the rock when they are doing the trick animations. I can't do Trick Counters perfectly in this game because most of the time the AIs will dodge your Trick Counter range.
@@ShawnSoth Yeah, I actually did mention that I played most PS2 games on a PS2 Emulator in the description before but one of the comments told me to stop being a p*ssy and buy a real hardware instead. Since then, I only mentioned it if anyone asked.
You should watch the whole playthrough instead of just this part. I've done a lot of tricks in the entire playthrough. If you don't want to watch the playthrough, at least watch the final part.
