I do not tap or can't dance at all really. Vertigo to bad. It seems though, that hands and arms move gracefully on their own exactly where they need to be to maintain balance. Equilibrium. It has never looked mindless to me.
@@kimquinn7728 Indeed, and thats why everyone puts their hands in different ways depending on the step. You have to find your balance and style while dancing free style (because in choreo you have specifical arm positions). Looking at a single dancer it looks ok for their arms to be everywhere, but in a group dance it looks funny to me.
@@mitica-mar Oh, sure. If you are choreographed. Totally. But I just meant I have never seen any individual tapping and thought "Your arms are everywhere, my god!😳" No, its much more "Oh, Jehovah, if I could do even an 1/8th of that, I would be so grateful!" It is beautiful.
@@kimquinn7728 its not a bad thing, I do it myself. Dancing is so fun and liberating!! You should definitely try it.
@@mitica-mar Wish so much I could. Had a stroke back in 2006 and left me with vertigo. Can't walk a straight line.
