for the compound bow, if you can find a toolkit, you can adjust the draw strength of the bow, to suit your character's strength, also if you have any holsters equipped and have the pistols left in your backpack, you'll free up more room making use of them :) also you have 2 AWM mags, and an AWM rifle, and pretty sure you have a scope, or can craft a rail to allow you to fit one of the scopes you currently have on to the AWM and also the AWP, personally though i'd sell the AWP to the trader, along with the 1911's and 1911 mags, but keep the AWM and mags as you currently also have a suppressor and 2 mags for that one.. and when going in to bunkers and military zones, they are usually rife with good loot so i would take plenty of ammo and only your sidearm in there, unless you can find an anti materiel rifle or a AT rocket launcher, you would be just carrying weapons that would serve you no purpose to take them out, so i would recommend leaving those 2 primary weapons at your home base... just so you dont lose them in case of getting killed. plus it frees you up for room to loot more stuff, the large hiking backpack is ideal to loot for in those places as you can store some good rifles and weapons in there... along with attachments... so if you go for a loot drop, and find good stuff, especially while you dont have a car to store stuff in a quick trip back to base would be more preferable to losing that hard earned gear, especially as even with loot chance turned up, stuff is still very rare for certain items all the gun powder and lead etc if you find that i would say grab it so you can craft your own ammo... it's definitely more helpful in a pinch, the low quality ammo, though be aware they can jam, or not fire... so i would recommend selling those, maybe making a sell chest for what you pick up you dont want to keep and also thanks for another awesome video :) i look forward to the next one :)
@@BlondeDon you're welcome I must say when i've played SCUM it can go bad really quickly, it's probably cos in most other games you have 1 or more enemies to deal with, and the odd situational danger that could arise... in SCUM everything including yourself can be the result of your character dying.... too much heat, not enough heat, hunger, thirst, infections even a seemingly minor wound by an arrow or bullet can result in death, hell not having dry socks or shoes and dry clothing can lead to stuff that can kill you, then add in the Puppets and Mechs and now you got literally everything in the game along with animals that are trying to also survive... Survival in SCUM is one of the most difficult and yet satisfying i've ever experienced... and also one of the most irritating at times... especially when you know you took every precaution and still died or dropped because of some routine encounter or your shoes were of low quality lol but it's fun, and any time the limited experience i have had over the time playing it could benefit anyone else (obviously without spoiling the game for you or them), hell if it helps then it reduces the struggle and grind that can be unnecessary at times :) thanks again for the awesome video :)
Make sure you load any mags with corresponding ammo to help conserve space, also load any said mags into corresponding guns, like the awm mag you found for your awm rifle, aswell as accessories, like the awm suppressor you found
Kill box card allow you to open a door in bunker A1. This room is a room where you can find some really nice loots and c4 pieces. BUT, this room have a 15 minutes timer that starts when you activate your keycard on the door in the bunker. In the room, there are 5 tiny rooms where you'll have to unlock doors by defusing a bomb (5 sec timer) and then pick lock a lock per room from silver to gold with electrified locks. When you defuse the doors from bomb, if you make a mistake and fail the defuse minigame you'll triger a trap that throws zombies in the room and reduces the 15 timer by 1 min for each mistake you'll make. If you can't lock pick normal lock (not those from the shelters) don't expect to loot anything but it's a good training :) . Sorry for my bad english and kisses from France.

Whenever possible, if you are near a cell like in this video at around 44:18, and zombies around, always close the cell door so you are kinda locked in, zombies cant come in and you can get easy shots and give you some breathing room, also you can stuff the extra loot in the bag and carry it on your hand after making sure that there are no zombies around. What I do is carry an empty bag in my backpack, so as I get more loot, I can hold the extra bag in my hand and transfer the loot into it. You can use the toolkits to repair the durability of any mags. Also, the number of uses on a weapon cleaning kit = %of Durablity it will give on the gun, So if you weapon kit has 21 uses left, it will give 21% of durability to the gun you use it on. A cheaper way to repair guns is to purchase weapon parts of the same gun from the trader and you will be able to repair the same gun, same goes with disassembling any weapon, it gives you weapon parts. so if you find any gun below 30%, best is to disassemble it and use it to repair any other gun with better health rather than selling it. (edit. weapon cleaning kit and weapon parts info)
I know I am about 6 days late (after release) but if you right click on the vehicle in the vicinity it should show inventory. If I am not mistaken, which I might be, every vehicle has a inventory.the other rifle you dropped in the last video was a Mosin Maginot which takes the same rounds as the svd.
I was looking into it and apparently it's only the hell rider dirt bikes that have storage even though I could have sworn I had seen storage space on the one I was using earlier in the day.
If you haven't found out yet the office you went to is the center. The other 2 tunnels the mechs was patrolling was exits to the outside. The only other place I loot besides the office and 3 Quonset huts you looted is 3 other Quonset huts further up from the first 3 Quonset huts you looted. Also, it looked like you was low on fuel. When you went in from the north there's gas pumps on the right at the end of the piers. A safer place was at the airfield you had just visited. The big tank you went by on the outside was a fuel tank. You can also fill up there.
You can put both bow silencers on the bow. 1 is not for "a spare". "It's bright red, so we stick out like a sore thumb." To who? You're in single player, and it makes not a hoot of a difference to a puppet if its red, camo green, or hot pink! You know you can just drag and drop loot onto the storage box. Much easier than placing every single piece manually. Killboxes are like bunkers .... but on steroids and hopped up on acid while suffering from phsycopathic homicidal paranoid tendencies. CAN be done solo, but it takes a braver man than me or, I suspect, you. 😀 The medical and rubber gloves, are used to provide a layer on insulation against electric shock, which is a thing when picking the locks in the killboxes. And wool gloves? Well, they just keep ya digits warm. Much like you'd expect from, you know, wool gloves. :p And you don't have 2 of them. One is an AWM the other is an AWP ... not the same gun, even though they look similar. And AWP is .308 cal, the AWM is .338 cal. The other rifle...might it have been an SVD? SVD, AWM and AWP all make excellent sniper rifles. Best scope is the P223. The mech heard you, but his lights were still white. He wasn't alerted and he wasn't looking for you. Yeah, you're right, the loot you got out of there is the best you're going to find in there. Though there are several more quonset huts on the outside that you didn't get to that can have some decent loot.
FYI You may have done so off camera, I'm not sure. But don't forget to loot the desks and all the small boxes on the desks and shelves in these locations. I found 3 sets of NVG once is the small boxes in a bunker. When you have the time playing solo its worth it to check everything.
As far as I know, ammo can't be repaired, and the lower the quality, the more prone to failure it is (same with weapon quality). Besides weapon cleaning kits, guns can also be repaired with the resulting weapon parts after disassembling another one of the same kind using a tool box. BTW., having spent some time with SCUM myself, it's refreshing seeing someone playing as a "newbie".
Great video as always you did a great job figuring out how to go in and out at the naval base and that office is the best area you can loot so you're all good no need to go further in because you end up at the surface of the naval base and just not worth it... And you can use another backpack if your gonna do a loot run you can carry that backpack full of loot with your hand so you hand 2 full backpack worth of loot
Makes sense, as these are using different cal. ammo. Except maybe sharing frame and/or exterior parts, like IRL you shouldn't be able to repair one by using parts of the other.
