So i have been playing Sea of Theives a bit and during my time playing i made sure that i was checking the shape of the moon and checking my pocket watch so i could see if the shape of the moon had any relation to the time and date and what i found is very interesting especially since there is that rock painting with the merfolk transformation cycles correlating to the moon cycle. I believe that the Moon goes through a full cycle in sea of theives with the full moon being on the 30th, (if you didn't know already the months in sea of theives are always 30 days and the moon cycles of our real life moon are basically 30 days give or take a few hours). I was able to figure this out when i noticed that the moon continued from being slightly more than half way covered around the 25th to becoming a full moon on the 30th and then after the 30th the moon actually starts going back down to half. Alot of people say the moon looks cheesy compared to everything else in the sky on sea of theives and i think they made it that way so that you could easily tell how much of it is visible. Im going to test my theory again soon and see if the moon completely disappears on the 15th at midnight. If my theory is correct then the moon will be exactly half way visible on the 7th after 12:00pm, It will be invisible on the 15th at midnight, halfway visible again on the 22nd after 12:00pm, and finally a full moon on the 30th. Then the cycle repeats itself. anyone else checked this out at all?? id love to hear any feedback or experiences anyone has had with this. Maybe i should try going to certain places at specific times? The best way to test the theory is by reloading your game until you have a date close enough to one of the dates ive listed unless you don't mind waiting. However if i am not mistaken each hour in sea of thieves is equal to one minute or sixty seconds meaning that a whole day cycle would be 24 minutes. 30 days x 24 minutes = 720 minutes which is 12 hours for a month to pass by in game.. which would be really long and boring way to find out if my theory is right.
I would love it if they added fishing, and let you catch them and put them in your bucket or something. Maybe add a new company that’s all about fishing, if it’s complex enough. I would also love for them to add more lore to the Tribals and natives of the Sea Of Thieves, maybe adding a friendly tribal company, or some primitive spear or club weapons.
I think it would be cool if they add parrots or other big birds that could pick you up or something, just add more animals to the game as most of it is water.
not that they are hard to find but, you notice on islands there peculiar shrines as well as cave drawings, fire.. giant crabs even the kraken. I wonder if these are some how going to be incorporated in a content release as boss fights/raids or epic voyages etc. Spawn the Giant crab and help it defeat the Kraken for it's hoard :D
It serves a double purpose I think. I mean these people draw huge crabs and seem to worship them. Why else were they painted that way? Heck wouldn't it be funny if the clues told you to find the pair of melons on the beach and take a few steps this way and find the treasure you seek?

Nice, they could also add squids or octopuses that focus on CC (block movement and blind), medusae (moving spots of damage), crabs (threat level: snake) aggressive sea flora, etc. If RARE is going to support this game well, it will stand a chance.
I believe that it has been confirmed that mermaids will become an enemy type in-game. Perhaps Rare will had a mermaid hunter company that sends you to these uncharted isles to clear out the mermaids and take some sort of treasure from them.
I got lucky and found this cave while my friends were preparing to leave. I tried telling them about this cool thing I found and they didn't care and just sailed away, leaving me behind. I never found it again.
I put about 10 hours in. I'm pretty sure anyone who has played it can see its potential. It is going to be tough trying to get players in a year or so when there are things to do.

I'll probably get into it once they make it worth the $.. im just not really into the "buy my 60dollar game for what it can possibly become way later in the future" meme that the gaming industry seems currently obsessed with. Also seems like they are blowing their own toes off with a blunderbust lol.

Lores in the beta you automatically had all the weapons equipped but they changed that in the full release to what it is now. Was confused as well....
