Living here in Spokane for many, many years, I thoroughly enjoyed the program and the knowledgeable speaker. Well done,

I just traveled in this area of Idaho with Nez Perce guides. Nez Perce Tourism in Lewiston is a good place to start if you want to understand this fascinating, welcoming culture through their own eyes. I'm glad to hear that Archaeologists are coming to respect the oral history carried by the people themselves.

Geo-Time-Dating a site is where at 10 feet you found these 13,000 year old relics; thus 10 feet of Sedimentary dust equates to a site being at least this old. When Olmec Heads, are found under 25 feet of Sedimentary Soil, & Moai Statues are under 30 feet of clay; are they not way older than 30 thousand years?

No. Depth of sediment does not mean age, sediment is deposited in larger or smaller amounts depending on the environment, the rainfall soil type, relief etc all effect soil deposition

Why would the inhabitants of the rock shelter pick a north facing exposure? Was it strictly utilized for the water source or were there additional considerations that a north facing rim rock shelter could provide.

The wolverines could easily have been dispatched camp raiders, I'm sure like you say, the for would of been used too though.

The knowledge gained here is amazing! The Native Americian Indian, tended to use Chert for tools, yet these Points, appear to be of a "(un-knappable Quartzatite, or Quartz crystal)"? Oldest tools are of this MOH-9 Hardness, & could of be scavenged from a much earlier generation. The fact that you found these precious tools here, indicates a disaster overtook them.

Quartzite is definitely knappable what are you talking about

Quartz too. It's tough but not a 9, it's a solid 7 on the Mohs scale.
