Fun fact! When I was in year five, my school done a trip there once as we were learning about ww2 and how people survived during it. We had a look in Anderson shelters and stuff and they would show us what they would do for blackouts and showed us how the air raid sirens worked. We also dressed up in the old 1930s styled clothes and done a bit of role play. It was hella fun! It’s also a great family day out! I think it’s well cheap for what you get.

That sounds great! We saw the Anderson shelter too. We certainly enjoyed our day out there and it did seem pretty good value, especially if you can go on a quiet day. Thanks for your message and thanks for watching!

I've never heard of it but it looks really interesting. Great video.

Thanks! Yeah, a bit of an unheard of place (unless you're local maybe) but worth a visit if you're in the area and it's a rainy day.

I remember coming here as a child about 18 odd years ago, amazing memories

It's a unique place. Worth a visit if you're nearby and perfect for a rainy day. Thanks for watching! Matt and Issy

A few more people might have added some atmosphere. It looks interesting but to me, the buildings look too perfect, new and clean. Never thought I'd say somewhere was too clean! Good for a rainy day though.

Yeah absolutely, everything needs a bit of weathering to make it look a bit more realistic. Was still quite an interesting place, and nice not having to worry about crowds! Thanks for watching!

the arcade has changed since i last was there as it used to be all 10p games with the old style coins. the games were also a lot different being mainly vintage Victorian penny arcade games like pinball

To be honest, whilst we enjoyed the arcade, the one you remember sounds better and more in keeping with the rest of the museum! Thanks for watching and commenting. Matt and Issy

Looks interesting, quite a bit to see. Probably could take a bit of grime to authenticate it and some interaction to bring history alive.

Yeah, maybe on a weekend there is a bit more going on, but still had a good afternoon out. Thanks for watching!
