@@AbbieeSchutjerr Keep in mind that it's quite heavily diluted. Yes, you'll obviously feel it somewhat, but do it regurarl, and your eczema could finally get better. I say 'could' because eczema is very subjective and everyone has it a little different.

I do use onions for colds, but in a different way! When you cut an onion, it makes you cry- and it can often give you a runny nose, right? So when I have a very clogged nose and I can't sleep, I slice an onion and place it in a bowl on my bedside table, as close as possible to my head. That way, the onion's smell relieves the congestion, and helps me fall asleep more easily and without being disturbed by coughing fits so often. It is a pretty smelly solution, but boy is it a relief when you can actually breathe and smell it! I'm not sure how it might work with placing the slices on your feet or anything, but hey.... at least it's surely better than sleeping in a pee soaked bed. And the oatmeal baths are genuine too! I've had to use oatmeal soaps for my entire childhood because my skin was really sensitive, and oats were one of the few things that wouldn't irritate it. And it smells sooooo good.
I often just use sinus medication for that lol, but if my nose if clogged and I have to breathe through my mouth, I sleep with a mask on (like those blue medical masks) bc the humidity of my breath keeps my throat and lips from drying out 😅
as a girly w/ depression and rots in bed.... i would never, EVER sleep in a bed w/ piss. I would NEVER let my child sleep in a piss soaked bed. I'm cleaning that up. sure, I don't have the energy to clean everything as often as needed, and if people saw my bed without me having cleaned it JUST bc they're coming over, they'd think I'm disgusting. but i'd NEVER not clean up a bed w/ piss.
Oat baths do work on eczema and baths are so relaxing! If you turn off the light and light a candle it’s even better, If you smoke a joint in there goodnight for real😂
The onion in the sock myth comes from the 1500s when people believed bubonic plague (and other diseases) spread through bad smell. They though that if they override it with different smell - like old onions, flowers, etc. they won't catch it. Also ancient chinese practised this to, but it has something to do with foot reflexology.
Oat baths do work on eczema and baths are so relaxing! If you turn off the light and light a candle it’s even better. If you smoke a joint in there goodnight for real hahaha

my country's folk remedy is pálinka and an obscene amount of honey. I had the worst viral sore throat for a week now, literal searing pain all around my neck and not kidding, i ate a full sized jar of honey and it helped more than painkillers. Now looking back maybe some pálinka would have helped too
As a folk witch, I get asked time to time about how to treat something like a sore throat and I always say chamomile and honey. Not a lot of folk remedies actually work but this one genuinely does.
Oat baths used to be a real help for kids with chicken poz or exzema it stopped the itching. I used to take baths with epsom salts because the magnesium helped my muscles relax and helped my sleep

9:08 he's right. Garlic on the feet won't clear a cold. If you consume it. Like if you cook it into soups it can help speed up recovery but it won't do much if it's on your feet. It might make your feet sting it's and smell like garlic but that's about it. Garlic can help clear up pimples and cysts I've used it for a cyst on my tailbone I would have had to have drained a second and even third time which is why I'm saying it can be useful for that and I've been told that if you bite into raw garlic when your stuffed up it can clear your sinuses so garlic is useful but it's not a miracle food
For ear aches my mom would take a rolled up news paper and blow smoke in my ear. Also if you're feeling sick eat as much raw garlic as you can.....it also keeps people and vampires away.
My family has bad history of skin cancer and sensitive skin so multiple summers in a row I would go swimming, and unknowingly cause myself to be covered in blisters from forhead, to feet. It was excruciating. Oatmeal baths were my only relief.
In my childhood mum and granny were using onion and garlic when me and bro were sick. Forcing us to inhale onion. they cut it and come to us and tell us to put nose literally super close to onion and inhale it for a while. I dont remember if it was put on our feet, maybe when we were completely babies. I always hated it. But the worst was garlic “procedures”. They put garlic in presser and got garlic juice from it, used dropper to get that juice and put that garlic juice into our noses. I used to cry and runaway from mum, lock myself in the bathroom and with tears telling her NO. But when i got out she used to catch me and do it anyway. That was horrible. Nose inside was paining. I dont remember garlic or onion helping us to fight the cold.
11:17 my mom also does this! she says it’s to get rid of the bacteria in the house, she specifically puts it whenever one of us is sick, she’s been doing it for years 😭
When I was sick last time, someone told me to put a onion beside me and sleep, and the onion would absorb all the bad energy and sickness. I woke up, opened it up. It’s the same thing it’s supposed to be rotten.
With the onion things for the cold, it actually really helps. My family uses it for when we are sick, and it helps. Just dont do it all the time because you can get sicker with it
surprisingly, goat milk, breast milk and oat milk baths are good for your skin and goat milk is safe to use with eczema aswell. tbh all these three options are. so if you feel bougie, goat milk or oat milk bath with roses lol (I did a project about this before, its backed up with evidence u can js search it up on google for a quick result instead of reading a bunch like I did) you can also make soap with your own breastmilk which is good for your skin and your babies skin.
I know a old man that washed his little Maltese terrier dog with bleach. I got angry and told him your burning the dogs skin. He said “ it makes the dog whiter”.

17:00 Well, when i was sick the other day my dad gave me a plant call "leaf of life" (im a Carribean person btw) basical what you do is you pick the leaves of the the plant and you get like a thin cloth and crush the leaf inside the cloth squeeze the juice from the leaf and add a bit of salt it doesn’t have any taste the only thing you'll taste is the salt oh and squeeze the juice on a spoon then add the salt on the spoon with the juice i drank it and i was better by the end of the day (btw love yor videos lazy ❤❤❤)

16:36 actually this tiktok was kinda accurate “I’m a bed rotter” bed rotten isn’t fun or funny it’s actually a BIG problem it can go from you not being to get up to even go to the bathroom or eat or only getting up to use the bathroom. It can come from depression or other mental health issues so I’m not sure if they was faking it but the comments was really unnecessary toxic. It’s nothing they can control (but I think they was faking it)
To be fair, the onion thing is older than tiktok, my mom or grandmother (I don't remember correctly) used to rub the cut onion on my feet when I was sick or inside the sock on my feet again I don't know where it came from Oh, the cut onion laying around at home was also a thing! Something something "it kills the germs and bacteria"
You know how when you get bleach on your skin and it feels slimy? That's the bleach dissolving your natural oils, which is a similar process that happens when we add animal fat to soap, which is why it kinda feels like soap, its you soap
