The painting is by GIOVANNI BELLINI. It is sometimes called THE VIRGIN AND CHILD BETWEEN TWO SAINTS. Sometimes the saint on Mary's left is referred to as St Mary Magdalene . The lady on her right is probably the patroness who had the painting done. There are numerous paintings by different artists with this theme. This is Bellini's. It's beautiful It is in the PRADO in Spain.
