Having a marathon of your videos right now, re-watching all of them while having a candle lit, full-moon shining through my room, writing letters and thinking about all the books I want to read. Pure moment of bliss. You truly are that kind of person who I'd love to be friends with and induldge and lose myself in deep conversations. God bless this channel and you.
Wow how gorgeous. You sound like you were really at peace. I'm so happy I could contribute to that atmosphere you created. Maybe I'll make a discord and we can all have conversations like that in candlelit rooms across the world.
I often declare openly that I detest work and I do not apologize. Often audiences is shocked at my perceived audacity. Why are people soooooo inauthentic?
Your description of ectasis makes so much sense. I always thought from a young age there was no coincidence that people who are entranced with the arts often fall into a cycle of drink and drugs because these (art, drink, drugs) are all things that take you outside of yourself. We spend our whole lives chasing that feeling, I can't help but be sympathetic to those who completely surrender to it.
This was so delicious! Truly the lifestyle I intend to lead, every aspect curated, but still room for quality spontaneity. My mind actually didn’t directly go to sexuality, with mentioning the senses my mind went to taste and smell. (Probably because I am focusing on curating those areas of my life right now) In terms of taste, where food is concerned, it is important to me to establish a refined, cultured, and fresh palette. No more fast food. To balance pleasure with restrictions, only eating quality food at all times. Proper portion, packed with flavor and nutrients. Tasting a different region a month, the cheapest way to travel. Learning about the Ingredients, how they interact or counteract with others, how they allowed for commerce and trade, or the sustainability of people through impoverishment. Cooking is a fully immersive art and science, and has shaped many civilizations. Anthony Bourdain is my idol in this arena. In terms of smell, I want every scent in my environment (that I control) to have specific notes. My personal palette is (also food based lol) vanilla, honey, amber, ginger, musk, coconut, Shea butter, cocoa. Not all in one, but across different outlets. My rooms, hair, skin, and car scent must all be one of the above. Gourmand scents send me into a state of sensuality. Overdone and unnatural scents make me nauseous. Florals and citrus do nothing for me detached from the source. I like skin scents like “you but better”, which is my beauty philosophy. I think a trait that separates a sensualist from others is that, if she’s feeling down and not wanting to do something that brings her pleasure, she does it anyway. A sensualist is ritualistic and will not sacrifice that for a bad day. Yes she’s human and wants to order takeout some nights, but she plans ahead and meal preps a glorious dish instead of getting Wendy’s and regretting it later. She may not want to go to the gym, but she’ll sacrifice some energy now for a svelte physique and endorphins later, which is where the real pleasure is. Though she will have bad days she doesn’t let them define her, and at the end of the day finds beauty in being human. I appreciate this video soo much and love the commandments (would be so cool on merch). Seriously can’t wait for you to dive deeper in this topic, would love to know some of your sensual lifestyle rituals.
When I read about rejecting fast food my mind immediately went to bettony Vernon, her idea of sex is sacred, and she talks about rituals (sexual ones) and how she rejects 'fast' things, she talks about these in her book The Boudoir Bible. I really love these mindsets ( if you can call them that), it's fascinating me and I think my sexuality and sensuality is taking these turns now. This video helps me define my visions better. I recommend to you both check out Bettony's book.
*yes I attribute colors to things too, they call it Synesthesia* "People who have synesthesia are called synesthetes. The word “synesthesia” comes from the Greek words: “synth” (which means “together”) and “ethesia” (which means “perception). Synesthetes can often “see” music as colors when they hear it, and “taste” textures like “round” or “pointy” when they eat foods."
I'm 24 years old straight turkic man from Russia and I'm glad I know English enough to appreciate your message. I find it interesting to assess universe (and grab unisex concepts for myself) from women's perspective especially when it's delivered in a such well structured yet beautiful, human and humane way. Hope to become a little bit livelier with your help. Wish you well and thank you for who you are.
Thank you do much again for this video. You just described the 'essence' of me. All the things, feelings, and longings I tried to deny myself, and about myself. Just doing things in solitude and Not watching the time, that's what brings the best out of me. When I am home alone doing simple things, like sweeping the floor, washing the dishes, cutting vegetables... that's what I enjoy most, and derive pleasure from. For me, art is not about results, but about the emotion, attitude and intention that's behind an activity. Results are a convenient byproduct or consequence of enjoying the process of 'just doing'. (Also a concept coming from Taoism). When I forget the time and just do things carefully and with attention that's when the possibility of a meditative state arises. For me personally, focusing on 'getting things done in time', has been detrimental for my wellbeing. It's what has been told to me by society. 'To get things done in time for other people.' And I absolutely hated it. Because it's simply not in my nature. But the good thing is that I've finally come to the realization that I can create my own reality within the reality of the world that already exist. Not entirely, but to a degree. And now I can finally enjoy the beauty of life that was always there, but that I never noticed.
🙏 I’ve never met anyone who thinks about these things as much as I do, how interesting. I’m overjoyed finding your videos. I can’t tell you how many times I am questioned as to why I don’t just get xyz because it “works” and my reply is always - I don’t want things that don’t serve beauty-taste- going out and bring social with others I’m often told I seem picky. I’m just trying to curate my life - I don’t mind waiting to find what fits. To live sensually.
I’m such a fan of your channel! Some of the things you talk about go over my head sometimes, but I enjoy everything you talk about and I always learn something. I believe I am a person who truly enjoys small simple pleasures. I carefully guard my space, my time. I only have 2 people in my social circle. My alone time and my freedom is everything to me! When I am at work I can’t wait to get home to a hot shower and then my bedroom. I carefully curate everything in my life, little luxuries that I enjoy. I probably spend too much money on little luxuries but I appreciate beautiful things, good books, good coffee, my rituals. I haven’t found anyone making content like yours-I believe you will be very successful! Wish you all the best!!
I've noticed this in a few people I've admired for so long but couldn't figure out what exactly it is about them that made me so curious in achieving this lifestyle. It drove me crazy!! I'm so pleased to find your channel! You broke it down PERFECTLY. It's like my mind can exhale now
Here since 300 subs, my goodness we are growing. It really felt like an exclusive club given the main subject as etherealism. Now here we are. This is really a true depiction of be the authentic you and the right people will find you. I’m giving my all to my art style now knowing someone somewhere will resonate with it.
3:00 --> Yes, I am the same. We have the condition known as grapheme-color synesthesia, and I love having it. Seeing color when thinking of or seeing numbers or letters, and therefore every word is packed with color and a resulting mood. I feel exactly what you're saying. Love this video, and appreciate it
watching your videos feels like *finally* understanding classic poetry lol the depth of life to which you take me, and into my senses in such a easy digestible way is amazing. Its like food for the soul your channel. thannnk you.

What the f??? Where did you come from? How do you know all this? This is blowing my mind. I have always loved the word "sensual." Now I know why. Thank you 💕
How is it possible that I basically love every topic you choose. Anyway, I'm very guilty/blessed with this lifestyle. When you mentioned 'extasis' my mind instantly went to 'enthusiasm'. Is it a sort of mysticism of the flesh then?
I love this video. I've watched this video every day since it went up. Everyday I've tried to comment but I've been at a loss for words. I try to translate my emotions into thoughts and I feel paralyzed, as if an esoteric hand reaches from void and clamps over my mouth. I'm in my 30s and live alone as a lone wolf sensual aesthete. I live for circles such as this. These types of videos are this channel at it's finest.
I have never heard anyone resemble me so much ! And I am a strange being. I have never met anyone who really understood me, and I grew up in a cult so my way of interpreting the world is otherworldly!
Would you please do us a service and write a book. Non-fiction preferably. Can be a thesis on your collective findings and personal insights. Idk am I asking for too much lmao. Just a suggestion xo
I’ve long thought the desire to end one’s life is often a misinterpretation of a longing for ecstasy/divine union
!

I might do that this weekend 🧚🏽♀️

Work can be a source of pleasure if you do something you love.

Yes!! Absolutely. And it makes sense because in The Dionysian cults they chose to enter exstasis through drunkenness, drugs, and sex

So you attribute the number seven to Wednesday is what you mean? Not the color green to seven?

Hi
Loving the sentence „intimately connected to yourself and your surroundings“ 🩵
Im sorry, i got lost in the "sensualists are ascetic". Isn't that the opposite of enjoying life's pleasures?
"The sensual life is one of artistic abstention" got me too.
