- The Academy Awards is the biggest night on the Hollywood calendar, and always delivers some of the best red-carpet fashion of the season. This year was no exception.
We saw Carey Mulligan in archival Cristóbal Balenciaga, Lupita Nyong'o shimmering in Armani and America Ferrera embracing Barbie pink in Versace.
It was an evening filled with red-carpet drama, and a fitting end to the awards season. Above, we round up the 10 best-dressed stars at the 2024 Oscars.

Most of these look good, but Carey Mulligan's dress really knocked it out of the park.

My favourite was Zendaya. I also liked Ariana Grande's dress. I don't think Ariana was trying to copy anybody at all. The point of her Giambatistta Valli gown was to represent her character in Wicked and I think she looked incredible in it. And it was perfect for the Oscars.

@@NPC1173 yeah tbh I'm not a big fan of this dress and look, I was hoping for something edgier and more structural, not this traditional, but I guess she did that with the whole dune press run, so I guess she just wanted to be more hollywood glamour this year. She still rules the runway imo tho.

The best dressed winner for me was Porche Brinker, the 12 year-old violin player, from the documentary 'The Last Repair Shop'. Porche graced the stage in her beautiful blue gown to accept the Oscar for Best Documentary Short. She was accompanied on the stage by co-directors Ben Proudfoot and Kris Bowers. Porche's joy and excitement, and her smile, made her shine. The beautiful dress was perfect for her.

My favourite was Greta Lee - glamourous yet elegant and looked exquisite on her. Sorry, but I disagreed with 9 and 10. I love Kirsten Dunst and Margot Robbie, but their dresses were boring and underwhelming. This was a great year for Oscar fashion, films, and the show was great. Kimmel did a great job. I think he'll be back next year.
Anyas outfit was the best tho Emma, Nupita, kristen and lupita were great too.

I know Emma can look gorgeous and the design of this dress was great, but I didn't think the color complimented her at all. Needed a slightly deeper/richer shade to set off her fair skin. Instead she looks washed out. Didn't care for her hair either. Loved Lupita and Zendaya the most!
