Well, he is a sociopathic stalker in the series... I am an INJF and I do kinda try to figure out a girl that I find attractive and not approach her before I'm sure she's normal and it seems safe to do so (I don't trust people) but the most stalklike thing I've ever done is add someone on Instagram without introducing myself, there's no following or stalking on social media or else. I mean we do have other things to do, it's not as intense as a sociopath stalker sadly :/

I'm really sorry INTPs but as an ENFJ, the worst date I've ever been on was with an INTP. I stayed in awe of how badly it was going and my little Ti wasn't bold enough to let me leave early anyway.
During our 2nd date he gave me what was essentially a chemistry lecture and later a 2 hour slideshow of a trip he went on. ENFJs are not often lost for words but I was truly amazed. I'm sure you're not all that intense lol, I'm sorry this guy gave me a bad first impression.

Ummm this is, embarrassingly enough, a question that actually applies to most NFs pretty well. The answer is sometimes.
A lot of NFs tend to have a romantic dreamland inside their heads. Most of us put a ton of pressure on ourselves to be the perfect partner. Almost to the point that for a lot of us, having feelings for anyone at all can be uncomfortable at least and Tartarus at most.
It's easier to live up to your towering expectations for yourself and your partner by association in your imagination than it is in real life.

On the positive side I always appreciated his emotional sensitivity and willingness to go along with activities when we were dating
On the negative side we are in a bit of a power struggle now that he's getting into this "I'm the man do what I say" mindset and I don't appreciate that especially when it doesn't feel like what's important to me is important to him or that he has any clue how to execute mutual goals
So why should I follow his lead if nothing that's important to me will be considered? This is just me becoming his work horse and it's making me miserable
But he refuses to follow my lead and becomes passive aggressive when I try to take the reigns
He's got this idea of me that needs to fit into his box or he gets stressed out and breaks down and says I'm a bad partner
He dumps a lot on my plate I think he could easily handle on his own when I have enough to do
I don't feel appreciated or understood or as though I'm allowed to be myself anymore (When the relationship first started he seemed empathetic and understanding now he seems cold and distant)
I think it has unfortunately caused our relationship to run its course
I don't think he communicates or executes well and no matter how affectionate I try to be he's always saying it isn't enough even if he's the one rejecting cuddles
To top it off he's stopped going places and doing things with me "because we're married now" and has turned into a shell of the person I first met
"You" specifically reminded me of him because he has stalked my social media and even turned up places when I wanted to have some me time alone
There have even been times he's followed me around the house and said nothing until I'm like "what the heck do you want? This is awkward"
I have an ENTJ male friend with an INTJ girl who had noticed the same kind of problems and similarities
At the end of the day when the INTJ becomes a silent stalker more than an equal partner the ENTJ is going to bolt and the INTJ becomes so infatuated and intimidated by the ENTJ they don't know how else to handle it except resort to stalking
Turns out this isn't healthy
This has been my experience maybe some other people out there have had better experiences

You shouldn't sweat the small stuff you probably won't find someone who truly understands you until you fully understand yourself and that takes quiet a long time. Until then: have friendships and don't give false affection just because you don't want to be alone or untouched. If you choose to have a romantic relationship and grow with that person great but don't force it does what feels right. With the right person you feel like your best self.
