@@jimclayson I honestly thought the representation of INTP as R (the zombie) was hilarious, because in the movie, you get to hear his thought process, which is often quite witty and relatable, as he attempts to form a connection with the humans, but everyone else just sees him as a zombie. So you are correct in that context does add another layer of humor, but I can't promise that you'll be any more impressed after watching what is essentially a guilty pleasure, post-apocalyptic Romeo and Juliet

@@anonymousalien5392 I mean, I can’t say for sure, but I personally do this stupid thing where I just won’t know how to respond to something, then I wait too long and just end up not responding at all. I’d just try being up front and direct with them about how you feel. Not all INFPs are the same, but I’d have to get slapped in the face with a bouquet to get the gist. But also don’t slap anyone with anything, that’s probably not the best idea if you want to be liked

Yeah, a quick google search will show that real life serial killers can be any personality type and are more likely to be extroverted since finding people to kill involves actually approaching people. Also because extroverts blend in with new people better.
Hollywood has it all wrong. The FICTIONAL character Joe is a pretty sweet guy minus the murders. As an INFJ I do find him relatable and adorable, but I wouldn't kill anyone.

Noting the way a person licks their lips in thirst, and then providing the drink for them without them ever having asked for it. Learning a human's patterns to the point where we know exactly what they like, need, or want and providing them those kinds of experiences. Working tirelessly to make others comfortable at our own expense, without ever complaining about it. Noticing everything, and waiting for the opportune moment to use that knowledge. I don't think Joe Goldberg is a very good representation of an INFJ. Some of his traits are synonymous with behavior of INFJs or INTJs, but the intention is far different. His actions stem from trauma during his childhood. His actions aren't romantic, nor should they be romanticized. He likely has several diagnoses overlapping each other such as: antisocial disorder, narcissist personality disorder, and attachment disorder. He also struggles with cognitive dissonance, when he experiences empathy and chooses not to fulfill his desire to kill or to punish.
The reason the audience 'likes' him is because we are able to view this on the inside, and we can feel empathy for this character who has been shaped by the abuse and trauma that he experienced in his youth. We have this perspective to make the story more interesting and to connect us to this character, but it in no way is romantic, as suggested.
As an INFJ, I feel what he went through even though I never went through it myself, but in all honesty he doesn't really portray an INFJ being romantic so, I would say I agree with you ☺

I'm an infp married to an intj. I feel like our levels of awkwardness and introverted selves work amazing together. Plus I'm more whimsical and he's more clinical. So we smooth each other out where we both can be rough personality wise. We somehow made an extroverted son who puts both of our awkward selves into social situations. How some INFPs are in a relationship is beyond me. Like how? Hahaha when a person shows interest towards me I start to fantasize what it would be like to be in a relationship with that person and when we got to the getting to know stage I immediately find reasons (subconsciously tho) to not like him. I'll think that he's shallow or whatnot🤣
You notice how all the INFP women in this video were basically hating and fighting with the men they ended up being in love with 😂. As an INFP man, it’s not much different on our end unless we find that one INTJ or ENTJ who allows us to let our Ne auxiliary and Fi passion fly without making us want to kill them the way an ENTP does, haha. ENFJs are probably the ones for mature, older, and healthy INFPs where we’re too tired to worry too much and the ENFJ just knows how to break our code and skip a few levels to get to the part where we finally acknowledge that they are the one we’re looking for, haha.

When I was in middle school, we dedicated an entire class period to figuring out our personality type. I was tested and told, in no uncertain terms, that I was an INFP. I took the test home and showed my parents, who gave it one look and told me, in no uncertain terms, that I was an INFJ. I didn't believe them so we asked my sister what she'd classify me as without her knowing the results of my test. She agreed with my parents. I agreed with my assessment. So, now whenever I see things like this, I just focus my attention on the ways I act similar to both personality types.
I understand. In every test i do i have scores near the 50% mark, sometimes the test result itself said "we can not give an answer you should test more" so the only certain letter i have is the N at 70% 😂 i can relate to all of them 😂
But all personalities use all functions so i often say to myself it is just about how you developed 😅 its enough to know yourself a bit better in how you funktion 👍 4 letters can't describe me 😅

I'm an ENFP and my boyfriend is ISTJ and we fight a lot but we actually fit extremely well together. He's very stable and responsible but has the social skills of a lamp and I'm able to explain the social world to him and bring him out on exciting new adventures but leave a disorganized mess everywhere I go and cry a lot. Works for us, but we both are light on our types because he never gets mad at me for being messy or late and is extremely romantic, while I'm a software developer so I'm heavy on the logic as well. Compatibility is so interesting lol
