Mod Complete! IMPRESSIVE Westinghouse to OTIS Elevator Modernization-DOCO West Garage-Sacramento, CA

- We've all been waiting for this day, and it has finally come! Elevators (#1 and #2) were out of service since March, making it damn near a whole year since they have been under modernization. However, it was well worth the wait, as OTIS did a very impressive job on both of these cars! I am very satisfied with this modernization, and this is a very fine example of how an elevator SHOULD be modded. Almost EVERYTHING was replaced. Both of these have new COPS, call stations, indicators, interlocks, cables, rollers, door operators, cartop stations, controllers, cabs, and MUCH more!! I have to give a huge shoutout to OTIS for being soooo generous with the old parts for these elevators. They gave me literally anything I wanted. I got every call station and floor indicator from these, along with both COPs! This is such a great mod!
Anyway......Elevator #3 is still doing well. It's a bit stuffy and the floor indicator is still falling off. It still runs well though aside from a few bumps. Elevator #4 though...oh my. Literally, almost everything is falling apart. The COP, handrail, and service cabinet are all about to fall off. One of the light covers already fell off too. The ride quality still sucks. They should mod this one next imo. Enjoy!
