No matter what language, this sequence always manages to send shivers down my spine... I think, the English version is the best, on account of it being the original. I should also mention just how amazing Greek and Hebrew languages are!
Yeap, greek, my language, sounded the best after engllish, greek is meant to be sung and is a very perplex language. I also enjoyed hungarian, german, italian and flemish very much. But hebrew sounded good as well.
The Hungarian version has complety different lyrics than the original... I means something different. While the English says ,, Double double toil and trouble" the Hungarian says ,, Varázs varázs ősi varázs éget mint az izzó parázs". Which means Magic, magic ancient magic, burns like glowing ember". LOL
Kinda same as of swedish You know when they sing in the carts? They sing: Witches' mummy, maw and gulf. And in Swedish it is: Trollets tunga, häxas hand Wich means: The trolls toung, witches hand :P
German did that too, they sing "Schlimmer, schlimmer, noch als immer, kessel glüh im Feuer Schimmer" wich means " Worse, worse, than always, Kettle glow in the fire shadow"
@@DrBeat-zs9eb I think hungarian version actually make it better. But most weird is what they do in Polish version: "W kotle się gotuje wciąż, wyciągnięty z bagna wąż Łuska smoka, wilka włos Zróbmy czarownicy stos /Jędze, jędze pędzą w nędze! Ogień niech zapłonie prędzej!/ - that part is just repeated a few times Złego się wydarzy coś!" What mean (more or less - I know the order may seem weird - Polish is very flexible in that matter(as most information which come from order sentences in English in Polish are in word itself, so we can play with it quite freely), and I tried to add the verses most literall I could, I put more english like order/some explanation in brackets) "In cauldron (it) boils constantly (list of things which are subject of this sentence are in 2 next lines, so it mean like "snake is constantly boiling in the cauldron") pulled out from swamp snake (snake pulled out from swamp) Scale of dragon, wolfs' hair Let's make pyre for witch (yeah, sounds like for burning her... so according to Polish version of the song who burned witches? Other witches! :D) Shrews, shrews (actually I'm not sure of that one, perhaps hag would be better translation... anyway it could be synominic to witch... or just mean mean, annoying woman... or aparently one of slavic demons... I didn't know that one before) Dash into misery Fire let (it) burn sooner! (Let fire burn sooner) Something bad is goind to happen" So yeah... it turned out in Polish version hogwart teach it's students to burn witches :D How they have come up with this I have no idea...
That's interresting :) there is a french version, but in the french-canadian version they didn't replace it so it was the original english version, I don't know why that is
It's interesting that the Czech one is the most original one. I mean the doubled voices in the beginning are only in this one. And also the whole Czech singing sounds more serious therefore more suitable for the darker theme of the whole movie.
Turkish one gives me goosebumps !!! All of them are good imagine a movie song that sounds great in all languages. Thats a real succes. This movie is a legend. Never gets old..
French is beautiful, omg English and Greek have my heart, too. But I'm Polish and I must write that - polish is nice, ok :D Our Slovak neighbor is cool, what other languages. Good job! ❤
Great multi! Awesome video layout, editing and trasitions. :D Now for my analysis - Castilian Spanish, German, Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Portuguese- Good! Czech, Norwegian - Nice! The harmonies sound similar to the Swedish one. Danish - Very natural, doesn't sound like it's a dubbed movie, more like the original. Dutch, Hebrew, Slovak - Okay, not a big fan of them though. English - my childhood version, I'll always love it the most. Flemish - Good, my third favorite, but out of tune at so many places!. :O Same harmony as Swedish, Norwegian and Czech. French, Italian and Polish sound great. Swedish - my favourite foreign version! REALLY AMAZING. :D Turkish missed the mark. Almost professional, but not up to the mark. I *loved* the welcome welcome part. A stroke of inspiration!

I understand English version the most. I'm Czech and I can't understand jack sh!t of the Czech version due to the amount of reverb and voices overlaying. Pretty damn impressive, Czechs usually screw up some scenes with translations, but this was just wonderful.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I noticed I liked the versions that sing the 'In the cauldron, boil and bake...'-section in a round/canon (Czech, Flemish, Norwegian, Swedish, Turkish) the least. To me it sounds like the melody keeps getting a little lost in all those voices.
As someone that speaks 4 languages and learns the 5th language I have to say that I love that video. It's a very nice video. Thanks for uploading it! I love it

Means(in a quick translate)
Ratsnake blood inside a cauldron on fire,
Lizard tail and snake blood,
Nasty scale and dragon blood,
Pressed blood from a mummy.
Magic, magic, ancient magic,
The glowing ember burns at midnight,
Magic, magic, magic, ancient magic,
Burns, like the glowing ember,
Magic, magic, ancient magic,
Burns, like the glowing ember,
Jinx the curse away!
All the translators did an amazing job and no one ruined the song. My fav is Castilian
I think all languages is very good. BUT hungarian is the best!
Vladislav Underoak Yeah, I love the Hungarian dubs. They're great! And not just saying it because I sm Hungarian
Vladislav Underoak Meh no german is the best
You're obviously Hungarian..
Luca Uttó Everyone says the same thing, what makes you different?
Mr'Koalas I'm Hungarian too and the reason I think it's the best because it is the most clear. It's an opinion
as a child this song used to freak me out... now I realise it was the Turkish dub :D
if anyone's interested with the lyrics here they are:
Tıklım tıklım kaynasın kazan
-May the cauldron boil scalding hot
Kesilsin fısır fısır yılan
-May the whispering snake be cut down
Ejderhanın genzi
-The nasal fossa of the Dragon
Çıldırmış cadının kemiği (? not sure about this one)
-And the bones of the insane witch
Acılar üstüne acı
-Pain after pain
Kayna kazanım, kayna
-Boil my cauldron, boil
Kayna!
-Boil!
Kayna kazanım
-Boil my cauldron
Kayna!
-Boil!

Çevirin yanlış
Çünkü double, double toil and trouble Macbeth’ten gelen bir söz öbeği/şiir. Bu şarkının orjinalinin sözleri’de oradan alıntı. Türkçeye Kayna Kazanım Kayna diye çevrilmiş bir şiirdir Macbeth’te. Dublajı yapanlar onu kendi kafalarına göre değiştiremezdi.

For me Slovak is the best one... But of course thats because im Slovak 😂
I agree
Czech and Flemish are the worst
German, English and French are the best
No matter what language, this sequence always manages to send shivers down my spine... I think, the English version is the best, on account of it being the original. I should also mention just how amazing Greek and Hebrew languages are!
Yeap, greek, my language, sounded the best after engllish, greek is meant to be sung and is a very perplex language. I also enjoyed hungarian, german, italian and flemish very much. But hebrew sounded good as well.
@@toulamargariti9265 Probably, you're right. I like songs by Marina Satti. Greek sounds really sweet, somehow.
I don't even understand what they say in my own language x)
It's one of those songs you know :)
😁
You absolutely didn't have to make the mixes so beautifully synced, but you did it anyway. Wonderful job.
The Hungarian version has complety different lyrics than the original... I means something different.
While the English says ,, Double double toil and trouble"
the Hungarian says ,, Varázs varázs ősi varázs éget mint az izzó parázs".
Which means Magic, magic ancient magic, burns like glowing ember". LOL
Kinda same as of swedish
You know when they sing in the carts? They sing: Witches' mummy, maw and gulf.
And in Swedish it is: Trollets tunga, häxas hand
Wich means: The trolls toung, witches hand
:P
German did that too, they sing "Schlimmer, schlimmer, noch als immer, kessel glüh im Feuer Schimmer" wich means " Worse, worse, than always, Kettle glow in the fire shadow"
That's because it wouldn't really fit with the rhythm at all
@@shark961 but it has a negative meaning like the original Song. Way better then just "magic magic, ancient magic" like hungary.
@@DrBeat-zs9eb I think hungarian version actually make it better.
But most weird is what they do in Polish version:
"W kotle się gotuje wciąż,
wyciągnięty z bagna wąż
Łuska smoka, wilka włos
Zróbmy czarownicy stos
/Jędze, jędze
pędzą w nędze!
Ogień niech zapłonie prędzej!/ - that part is just repeated a few times
Złego się wydarzy coś!"
What mean (more or less - I know the order may seem weird - Polish is very flexible in that matter(as most information which come from order sentences in English in Polish are in word itself, so we can play with it quite freely), and I tried to add the verses most literall I could, I put more english like order/some explanation in brackets)
"In cauldron (it) boils constantly (list of things which are subject of this sentence are in 2 next lines, so it mean like "snake is constantly boiling in the cauldron")
pulled out from swamp snake (snake pulled out from swamp)
Scale of dragon, wolfs' hair
Let's make pyre for witch (yeah, sounds like for burning her... so according to Polish version of the song who burned witches? Other witches! :D)
Shrews, shrews (actually I'm not sure of that one, perhaps hag would be better translation... anyway it could be synominic to witch... or just mean mean, annoying woman... or aparently one of slavic demons... I didn't know that one before)
Dash into misery
Fire let (it) burn sooner! (Let fire burn sooner)
Something bad is goind to happen"
So yeah... it turned out in Polish version hogwart teach it's students to burn witches :D How they have come up with this I have no idea...
That's interresting :) there is a french version, but in the french-canadian version they didn't replace it so it was the original english version, I don't know why that is
For me it's English as original version, French (j'adore), Hungarian, Italian *chef's kiss*, Polish 🇵🇱⚡
It's interesting that the Czech one is the most original one. I mean the doubled voices in the beginning are only in this one. And also the whole Czech singing sounds more serious therefore more suitable for the darker theme of the whole movie.
Thank you! Greetings from Czech Republic :)
Díky.
The Spanish lyrics are quite dark, darker than the original.
Dutch, English, Flemish, French, German, Italian, Polish
+Mateusz Leszczyński I'm German x:

Hungarian, French, Italian 🔥♥️
I have to say, my personal favourite are Polish (my native, but dang, it's so good), English, French and Turkish for some reason 😅
Great multi! Awesome video layout, editing and trasitions. :D Now for my analysis -
Castilian Spanish, German, Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Portuguese- Good!
Turkish missed the mark. Almost professional, but not up to the mark.
I *loved* the welcome welcome part. A stroke of inspiration!
Thanks a lot man :D

I understand English version the most. I'm Czech and I can't understand jack sh!t of the Czech version due to the amount of reverb and voices overlaying. Pretty damn impressive, Czechs usually screw up some scenes with translations, but this was just wonderful.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I noticed I liked the versions that sing the 'In the cauldron, boil and bake...'-section in a round/canon (Czech, Flemish, Norwegian, Swedish, Turkish) the least. To me it sounds like the melody keeps getting a little lost in all those voices.
The nonstandard Canon in the beggining of the versions you names are actually what I find the most beautiful about them.
As someone that speaks 4 languages and learns the 5th language I have to say that I love that video. It's a very nice video. Thanks for uploading it! I love it

Thank you! Italian version has one of the best harmonies I've heard for this song!
Davvero in italiano dice "dagli"?
all'inizio
"se il vaiolo porterà"
in seguito:
sali sali senza sbagli
fa che la pozione quagli
DALI DALI (il pittore?) senza sbali
il suono /LL/ "gli" non lo pronunciano

My favourite version is the French version. First I'm French, but the final sentence is "Le mal court, il n'est pas loin !", it mean "The evil run, it's not far" and I think it's so deep and creepy...
