Your sweet rolls look SO much more realistic than Nerdy Nummies. I'm actually following this recipe right now for a Thanksgiving dessert! However, I live in the mountains, and apparently high altitudes can change the outcome of a recipe. I'll do some calculations and tell you how they turned out! :D
lol yes I did silly, in a comment at the top :) and I made them two years running for thanks giving because of their deliciousness and awesomeness that went over so well with my friends.
I know I'm really late with this post lol. Huge Skyrim fan and still play it to this day. I made these sweet rolls tonight and omgggggg! Thank you so much for the recipe ♡
Probably not since: A by the time i have posted this your assessment will have been and gone, and B it seems like quite a easy bake and not suitable for a final assessment.
@SashasBiscuits: im so excited about making these! I practised before a few weeks ago and they were so kool!! Guna practise again tomorrow :) such a big fan of skyrim, thanks for making this video!
If you're using the electric mixer, I'd suggest gradually adding the flour on the lowest setting then once it's moist knock it up to the speed you need.
I just made these! Thanks for the recipe, they're delicious! Quite dense and filling too, so you can't pig out and eat the whole batch in one sitting :p
I added a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness (I've watched too much Good Eats not to) as well as 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract when i made mine.
If I have you on sight, I'll wear my Mara´s amulet wishing I could have you making Homecooked Meal ver often. I love your voice and the way you do al the thing you do. Nice sense of humour.
The trees in area by the Rift could have sap similar to a maple. But you are right, I don't recall looting bags of sugar at any point in my travels. Flour yes. Gobs of flour. But no sugar. o: But many sweetrolls. Hmmm....
The same way anyone does! They had the beta version of Hearthfire, and used bakeries that disabled the moment Dovahkiin loads into the area. That, or they used the console. o.o;
When the guards say they took a arrow to the knee they actually mean they got married. That is because, when your are kneeling one knee is down which is the knee that took the arrow! :)
@SashasBiscuits Oh yeah umm, Sasha? at the beginning of this video why did u go wild with the sword with u awhile eating the sweet roll and running away from the camera?
Would be a shame if... someone... stole them...
Haha yes c:
Brien McWilliams II M'aiq would never steal a sweetroll. The very idea... absurd!
Brien McWilliams II let me guess, someone stole your sweetrolls...
+SkoomaDealer Should have told him to go sink his head
I would stab anyone who GOT NEAR my sweet rolls
I used to be a chef like you, then i took a kitchen knife in the knee
Well done Sir.
Can I substitute flour with bone meal and butter with troll fat?
HyperMuseum yes
I don't see why not 😂
To the 42 people who disliked this video, "Aww, did someone steal your sweetroll?"
its the videos fault for not having a warning saying "beware of the archer who loves pickpocketing and sweetrolls"
😂
Made these again this year, and they were even better than the batch last year! The trick is to cook them a little less.
+Yoshi Killough Nice! Glad you like the recipe :)
Guard might get nervous, a woman approaches with her weapon drawn
Disrespect the law you disrespect me.
I don't claim to make the best sweetrolls on youtube. SashasBiscuits has that honor. The woman's baking is legendary.
Can't even get a decent Sweet Roll... IN THIS SKEEVER HOLE OF A CITY!
Can I substitute butter for troll fat?
Edgar Rivera 😁😁😁👍

you never reported back, SHAME!!!!!
lol yes I did silly, in a comment at the top :) and I made them two years running for thanks giving because of their deliciousness and awesomeness that went over so well with my friends.
@@dookins2081 aww that makes me so happy! Glad you like the recipe. Sorry it only took me 5 yrs to respond 😂
Probably the first cooking instruction video that made me focus more on the cook rather than the food.
YESSSS THIS IS STILL HERE THANK GOD! I lost the recipe on my old computer, but the video is still up :'D
Damn, I fell in love with absolutely everything in this video, especially Sasha.
I just made them and the frosting is AMAZING... Thank you so much for the recipe!! Sweetrolls were great!! ^u^

solid camerawork and charismatic host, i'm surprised they only have one video
I know I'm really late with this post lol. Huge Skyrim fan and still play it to this day. I made these sweet rolls tonight and omgggggg! Thank you so much for the recipe ♡

@livvyificationable valentine's day is coming up.. have fun making sweetrolls :) they're super tasty too. let me know if you have any questions!
I need to do this.
I wonder if my Baking teacher will let me do it for my final assignment.
Probably not since: A by the time i have posted this your assessment will have been and gone, and B it seems like quite a easy bake and not suitable for a final assessment.
@THExMADxHATT3R thank you for following! when i see an amulet of mara i'll think about it :) any suggestions for the sequel?
@SashasBiscuits: im so excited about making these! I practised before a few weeks ago and they were so kool!! Guna practise again tomorrow :) such a big fan of skyrim, thanks for making this video!
This is by far the best sweet roll recipe out there ;D
Yay!
@UnbornHopes Yup. All depends on your oven too, keep an eye on them.
These sweetrolls were DELICIOUS!!!!! Great recipe!!!
hmm.. wonder if I still got that round baking form. whit no center.. so that it woud be an roll :D
Just wondering: Do you cook more things from Skyrim "live"? I would be happy to see it!
very nice. how much icing sugar and cream cheese would you recommend for the icing?
I love this video. What a lovely cooking! (The cook is lovely too!)
I added a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness (I've watched too much Good Eats not to) as well as 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract when i made mine.
Hmm sounds good but you do realize they make mini bunt pans that already have the hole.
Also can I leave out the maple syrup?
If I have you on sight, I'll wear my Mara´s amulet wishing I could have you making Homecooked Meal ver often. I love your voice and the way you do al the thing you do. Nice sense of humour.
you should make more vids, these look and taste delicious
You could use a baking tin with a hole in the middle.
I wonder why she doesn't have many subscribers I mean, this video is good!
xXLittleStormXx because she has only 1 video?
I know, I know... I saw that a few months ago when I made the comment
a.k.a May cuz that's when I watched it xD
+Ubeogesh working on more..
:D
Loved the mini-blooper giggle moments, a lot of fun to watch! xD
The trees in area by the Rift could have sap similar to a maple. But you are right, I don't recall looting bags of sugar at any point in my travels. Flour yes. Gobs of flour. But no sugar. o: But many sweetrolls. Hmmm....
Ok, Sasha, you convinced me.
I'm making these on the closest snowy morning :)
Could you please make more videos! I LOVE everything about this video.
This video is adorable, and the rolls look great! I can't wait to try :D
Hope you ended up trying this recipe! 😃
Did you make this recipe yourself?
I'm always impressed with people who can come up with this stuff. I have no idea what I'm doing in the kitchen.
You absolutely the Best I'm making sweetrolls right now THANK YOUUU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!
You forgot to mention one ingredient. A whole bag full of cuteness. 8-)
Thanks for the great recipe, made them not to long ago for me and my housemates, they were amazing
That's awesome. They look like the real thing. Good job.
I still love Skyrim to this day
"Once I had a spell. But then I burned a sweetroll.." BUT NOW (!!!) I can bake new sweetrolls! :-D I tried it. Nice recipe!!!
Just made these today. They are amazing!
Those recipes from Uncommon Taste book in Skyrim would be pretty cool to see.
Please can you do a tutorial on how to make the Potage Le Magnifique, complete with giant's toe?
This is awesome! I can't wait until I wake up tomorrow so I can make them! :D
1. Why butter the pan if you're going to line with parchment paper?
2. Could you just use a mini-bundt pan so the hole is already there?
@RolandIce Yeah, this needs to look more like an infomercial from the 1990s.
Great video!! Looks good!! Howd it taste?
do you have to add cream cheese or can you just make it regular sugar icing? (like the Pillsbury cinnamon-bun icing)
Hopefully now i can get a good sweetroll in this skeeverhole of a city.
I think I'm in love. As a side note, best part: 4:46.
I need to try this out.
Thank you!
The same way anyone does! They had the beta version of Hearthfire, and used bakeries that disabled the moment Dovahkiin loads into the area. That, or they used the console. o.o;
actualy if made right its very delicious, best to use a sour apple with some lemon juice to make it counter the taste of the cabbage
This is really good. Why don't you make more cooking videos?
@Protomanbeawsome doesnt have to be at all, it's whatever you want to taste in your icing!
how did they make sweet rolls in skyrim. they didnt have blenders, measuring cups, etc back then...
ooo thank you i made them extra special and they were amazing
For the icing, could I just use regular sugar?
OMG thats so awesome! Im making those for my skyrim loving boyfriend on valentines day this year xD
Are you planning on making Boiled Cream Treats? This sounds really good by the way, I'm totally gonna try it :D
My sister and I made these. They were delicious.
ughhhhh we dont have maple syrup around where i live :C
Subbed. I actually wanna see more. It dosen't have to be just skyrim food.
i tryed it and they turned out very good
I tried it... someone stole it and the guards just mock me.
That must suck more than an arrow in the knee
Do you have to use brown sugar ? I don't have any on hand at the moment.
Usually I would ask a girl why she isn't in the kitchen...but I see you're doing it right!
you should make more Skyrim food recipices. like the boiled cream treat.
i do cooking in school and in a few weeks we are able to cook a snack of our choice well i know what i am cooking
Yes but how do you make them the traditional nord way?
must the eggs be chicken eggs or may I substitute for Rock Warbler?
Oh my god! Those look so good! :) Lol, me and my sister are gonna make them :)
And I really can't wait to make them! :D
yo real shit this is the video that made me start baking back in 2013.
im being real here so thanks a lot
Yay that makes me so happy
@SashasBiscuits darn it, i just spent my last bit of gold, i may have to go hunting so i buy one from Maramal later
i want to make sweet rolls but bandits live near my house and they might steal them XD but im prepared with daedric armour and the FUS RO DAH shout
Let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll
This is the cutest thing ive ever seen
Boiled creme treat, or long taffy treat.
I totally made that stew and It was AWESOME!!!
Do you think it would work if I used honey instead of maple syrup? I like honey. (I'm going against my Canadian instincts...)
Will it blend? Only with a Centurion Dynamo Core driven blender....
Good for lunch at school for kids too
Wow! Imma try this!
why joke about arrow in the knee havn't got a most pumps?
by the gods, she actually did it!
When the guards say they took a arrow to the knee they actually mean they got married. That is because, when your are kneeling one knee is down which is the knee that took the arrow! :)
Now I can finally get good sweetrolls in this skeeverhole of a city. 5/5 video very informative
+Let me guess, someone stole your sweetroll?
-No, I stole someone's sweetroll!
+What?!
-FUS-RO-DAH!
loved the cutthroat kitchen episode! :D
This is amazing :D I think I'll make them for a friends' birthday
@SashasBiscuits Oh yeah umm, Sasha? at the beginning of this video why did u go wild with the sword with u awhile eating the sweet roll and running away from the camera?
