    This is exactly the type and spec of electric ATV I intend to build. Large 4x4 with a big battery. No chains either. Quiet.

    Love all the electric videos! Keep them up

    I’ve been toying with using an electric golf cart motor on an old atv, hooked to the original transmission

    Gentlemen, good day. do they sell the kit? I have a CF 450L. I would like to convert it. I would appreciate more information about the electric motors that were installed, batteries and speed controllers.

    Definitely can't wait for these things to be a bit more mainstream. Aftermarket kits are great, but like some say in the comments, it doesn't seem very DIY friendly yet. The Polaris Ranger XP Kinetic has been the only thing that looks reasonable but is way too expensive right now. Thanks for sharing!

      Definitely started to think about building my own to electric motors, quality of battery are anyway most important.

    Nice video!
    I play arround with the idea of converting my Polaris 850 to electric.
    I only use it for short rides, to haul stuff arround and between my properties.
    I have it speed restricted (less than 40 km/h), to save on daily insurace tax; $0.18 rather than $0.58
    If I do electric conversion I consider restricting to less than 20 km/h, because:
    I avoid all paperwork and stuff to get it approved for registration.
    I mostly do 5-10 km/h anyway, and only matter of seconds more than 20 km/h.

    Very nice. You'd be doing yourselves a favour if you'll reply to some of the comment's questions here. People watching need more info!

    What is the charge time when the battery is drained? Or should I say just how fast can you get it charged up from being dead? You would think Hunters everywhere would love this.

  • @tonykomer2997
    @tonykomer2997 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    here is the key question that seems they never purposely mention. what was the total cost of the conversion including the labour as this was done by a shop. I am guessing $10k+ USD

    Just a lot of Babel. Never saw the other gas-powered ATV, unless that giant 6X gas guzzler was its competition. And you carry the generator to charge it will at least give the other ones 5 gallons of gas. And then see which one gets back to Camp first. The build of the machine might have been interesting. This video was just kind of a waste of time
