Electric Rust Removal

Its a pretty simple setup, you most likely have everything you need for removing rust.
Things you need
Battery charger, older is probably better
jumper cables, this is kinda optional but the clamps offer a better connection
some sort of pale, drum, or container to hold water
water and washing soda, ration of 1/2 cup soda to 5 gallons water
scrap metal, bare metal, no paint or coating
battery to fool the charger, disclaimer... you might destroy it
And most important, the piece that is rusty
To make the electrolysis work
(-)negetive(-) work piece
(+)positive(+) scrap metal
