When he reached 65, he found that the CPF Board only refunded him $500 a month of his own money for his living expenses. Then they told him that he has to pay medical insurance premiums from 1st November this year or be thrown into jail. At 65, Cpf should return us a decent monthly amount after all the money belongs to us members. Cpf give a higher monthly payout for 20 years instead of 30 years. Calculation is to their advantage and at our disadvantage. Is this the way to treat members.

So far I have never heard of anyone from any politicians speaking dialects except an elderly PAP Lee Bee Wah, scolding scolding youngsters “ si kui kia (jargon) naughty boy. Next one is SDP CSJ who speaks Cantonese Hockian on numerous public speech. Thought not 100% correct but understandable. I applaud his efforts to learn dialects in order to reach those elderly who do not understand English, Mandarin, except dialects only. Similarly I also praise Md Lee Bee Wah for speaking Hockian by I don’t buy her attitude for calling small boy “ si kui kia “ meaning the small devils. She hurtled the feeling of mother of the little devil. Yes or not?

The PM says the Govt. will take care of the elderly.Then,why are the elderly CPF contributors short changed when their hard earned savings is locked in for another 5 years by extending the withdrawal age.This is one of the glaring examples that policies do not match what is promised to the elderly workers. sigh.. this whole cpf topic always hurt the most. I am mostly neutral when it comes to politics but the cpf scheme is literally just a cover up for extra taxes. The government then use this "savings" to subsidies this and that for citizens, with the amount limited base on your "savings" or bluntly speaking, the amount of tax you accumulate.
I think SDP stands a good chance in the Bukit Batok SMC! 😂 i hope when i get old.. i wouldnt be the one that work in the hawker centre to clear plates. It.will be then by choice to work and not becauss i have no choice but to work. 😅 frankly speaking i was cycling behind sembawang mrt and sun plaza.. i wondered why some old folks carry so many plastic bags and sleep out. I feel so pity for them. Singapore should have an official soup kitchen and shelter for homeless run by govt. Having an official soup kitchen is no a disgrace for Singapore but also makes a more inclusive society. Sometimes.. they really need to be there to pick up the broken pieces and moving out of the shelter when things gets better for the unfortunate ones.
It is not true that you can only take out your CPF monies at age 65. At age 55, You can take out the monies that are above the minimum sum. You need to be factual and perfect in your explanation, or else you are just giving ammo for the PAP to use against you.
There are other PRs who have become your MP....she's not the only one....you have so many PRs as your sportsmen....who knows...maybe next time can also have a PR as your president....👍🏽
How is it possble that 75 percent of the elderly have less than 500 sgd?? Many factors to look into, not just pap. How about your own children and etc who could probably cheat their own parents?

Good exposure to inadequacies of the ruling Govt. The PM says the Govt. will take care of the elderly.Then,why are the elderly CPF contributors short changed when their hard earned savings is locked in for another 5 years by extending the withdrawal age.This is one of the glaring examples that policies do not match what is promised to the elderly workers. Only a change of Govt. can rectify the wrong doings of the existing Govt.More capable personalities like the courageous Lim Tean, TCB,Dr. Fong and others should be voted as lawmakers in Parliament to overhaul the system of governance.A check and balance is long overdue.The best time is at election day when people cast their votes.Make the right choice or regret for another 5 years.is 51 years of one party rule by the dominant PAP not enough.Are you happy with the way the virus crisis is being handled? sigh.. this whole cpf topic always hurt the most. I am mostly neutral when it comes to politics but the cpf scheme is literally just a cover up for extra taxes. The government then use this "savings" to subsidies this and that for citizens, with the amount limited base on your "savings" or bluntly speaking, the amount of tax you accumulate.
Must cut ( PAP ) MINISTER paid so much paid not fare for us so what they are doing for us . See we die and don't do anything . What is this for ?

It.will be then by choice to work and not becauss i have no choice but to work. 😅 frankly speaking i was cycling behind sembawang mrt and sun plaza.. i wondered why some old folks carry so many plastic bags and sleep out. I feel so pity for them. Singapore should have an official soup kitchen and shelter for homeless run by govt. Having an official soup kitchen is no a disgrace for Singapore but also makes a more inclusive society. Sometimes.. they really need to be there to pick up the broken pieces and moving out of the shelter when things gets better for the unfortunate ones.

It is not true that you can only take out your CPF monies at age 65.
At age 55, You can take out the monies that are above the minimum sum.
You need to be factual and perfect in your explanation, or else you are just giving ammo for the PAP to use against you.
