Been asking these sorts of updates for a long time, glad Dokkan is finally doing it. I do have some criticism mostly how the Ui looks but I’m still excited to see how it turns out. Gonna make it more easier for newer players and it’ll be fresh for older players.
The best way i can describe the UI change is right now everything is sharp and they are changing it to something smooth. Im very excited for the passive update, the one rhing that im interested in knowing is if there is a way to show what is active (LOOKING AT CHARACTERS WITH CHANCE TO GUARD) by having it light up are darkened but this is a good revision overall
I like how the looks like those Japanese arcades or any arcade game with those very bright colours. It might be weird at first but its gonna be better in the long run.
I like what I'm seeing so far hopefully with all this UI work going on we'll finally get things like the friend system and world torunment redone as well
I don't like the new fonts. They suck.. they are making it more cartoonish I don't understand. Even the Vs screen looks childish like Dokkan wasn't already suspected childish whenever anyone caught me playing it lol.
I don't know if I really like the new UI. I'm fine with the icons for passives etc, even though it take some time to get used to it, but new map UI looks awkward. All this cartoonish and colourful designs are irritating for me plus somehow the auto mode buttons are missing and I don't like that at all. xD
yeah kinda agree some are saying it looks arcade like but I think it looks minimalistic. We’ll have to see how it actually looks when the update is out.
Forever means likely for another 2 years. There are not many moments worthy of stones left. And daima is not looking good as z or GT. I cannot see daima holding the weight of dragon Ball future. Dokkan needs the continuation of super
I'm not a fan of the new UI personally. The new animations, the percentage and being actually able to tell what your next rotation is are useful additions however. The problem I have with the new UI is that it just feels like its like other gachas where they remove part of the spirit of the game by taking away what we've been generally using in favor of a safe bland look. The KO screen effect im especially not a fan of but I'm probably alone on that. At least they are updating things i guess.
have to see more of the update but I can see what your talking about. The Ui that we have now is feels more dragon ball-esque like a how a scouter would look I guess. But this one kinda looks one of those knock off dragon ball games or an arcade game. From what we see now the negative I can out-lie is mostly gameplay wise. - We’re not gonna see or know who’s in slot 7 on the map anymore until you enter the fight. That’s also mean you waste a support memory if you didn’t get the right rotation. - the menu button is on the top so it’ll take a smidge longer to exit out a stage compared to now where every button is on the bottom which makes it more convenient. - they removed the revive icon, it can help indicate if you popped the revive or not. Some people forget mid battle.
Being able to just see the next rotation rather than that awful wheel is HUGE.

The real question is...are we finally gonna be able to see if a character rolls their great chance to get X buff before the turn plays out
I'm gonna dub this the true version z update.
Version Z2: Electric Boogaloo
Quality of life changes to me are always welcome. Unless it completely brakes the game because of course lol.
my brain typically says change bad.. but this is all in a good direction, hopefully if it isn't perfect, they can update it again soon!
Hirudegarn moving with the smoke ❤
*Edit* now all we need is an update to the dokkan attack animation!
Inb4 they add that too lol

I am happy that we got at least that big W Update news after the Daima L
Daima for me is the same like the Super Hero movie. Both are really BAD!!
Define bad.
