Salicylic acid is a BHA. If you're looking for another AHA besides Glycolic acid, try lactic or mandelic acid. They're easier on the skin because the molecules are larger than glycolic acid

Mandelic acid is suppose to be milder than lactic acid but I can’t use it, get red dry patches. The Ordinary make an inexpensive lactic acid that works very well on my skin. I do not normally have sensitive skin so was surprised by the reaction.
Mixing the Ordinary Glycolic toner with any moiturizing loting is also a great way to exfoliate.

I too have hormonal acne. I am in my 50s and I hate this. I am over it. But even if I do not pick, it leaves a dark mark.
It happens. It’s the worst . Retinol helped me so much. I also had to make some lifestyle changes to help with balancing my hormones.
Try using glycolic acid. It'll help fade the scars and try balancing your hormones. I also suffered from this way back, and Jesus healed me

Hello, how did you use these products? Did you do the glycolic body wash and then do the kp scrub after the body wash and after the scrub use skinfix aha cream? Or is that too many actives in one session? Also can you ise the kp scrub and then the paulas retinol after. Thanks in advance

My skin is very difficult. I get to the point where I just give up. I can never find a product that’s suitable for my skin. I have super hyperpigmentation on my face specially around my mouth. I may find a product that I think is working on my skin but it doesn’t last. After a couple of weeks I start having reactions to it. Do you have any recommendations. I already have dark skin.
Oh no, Im so sorry to hear. I have struggle with hyperpigmentation on my face too. What changed the game for me was retinol (cerave & Paulas choice)vitamin C( Naturium) azeleic acid(the ordinary 10%) and sunscreen(Elta Md) . I have sensitive skin on my face so it was hard to find the appropriate products. I probably should make a video about it.
