Very common casserole from around the world I guess.In my country we put freshly cut and sauted potatoes,carrots and eggplant and tomatoes. On top we makes egg and yogurt glaze and some shredded cheese.
My friend used to make this for my son when he would go to her home for daycare. She would use ground beef, mixed veggies, cream of mushroom soup and the onions and tater tots he loved it he would always beg her to make it! It looks good! God bless you Sara stay safe Hun!!

Now I don't know how you work these recipes out, but your video shows how to make this casserole in a very reasonable amount of time and with a very reasonable amount of putting together. Sometimes I just get lost in all the to dos people put into this. Now it seems much more likely I'm going to bake this casserole. Thanks for making it seem such an easier casserole to do.

I have a different tater tot casserole recipe but it calls for putting the tater tots on the bottom and the sauce and cheese on top. However the way you do it with the tater tots on top seems like a better way so they get nice and crispy. I think I'll give it a try next time. Thank you!

I'm from MN where this came from and of course it's hotdish to us lol. This is one of my favorite foods! I brown the meat and then add mixed veggies, shredded cheddar, seasoning, and cream of mushroom. I then, place that in a 9x13 pan, add tartortots, and bake it until they're crispy. I then, add a shit ton of cheese on top, bake it till the cheese is oooey gooey. Sooo good! I add ketchup and so do my kids. My boyfriend says ew about that. Haha Love your recipes Sara!!!

This is my whole families favorite rainy day meal. We use 2lbs ground beef, onions, peas, carrots and corn with one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of cheddar cheese Campbell soup. Then top with one bag of tator tots and cook for 45-60 mins at 350 degrees
I’ve watched nearly all of Sara’s videos and you can really notice how much her health scare around 5-6 years ago has impacted her health so much that her breathing is always congested and her breathing is very noisy and it’s from the pneumonia that’s damaged her lungs 🫁 😢

Go ahead and bake your tater tots in the oven till they're nice and crispy before you all all the other stuff. If you bake them first they aren't as mushy in the casserole as they are if you just add the frozen tots and bake it. =)
