He holds onto possession, gains territory for the full 80 minutes, makes critical tackles in and around the ruck, his post contact metres are some of the highest in the competition, which is critical in depleting the opposition’s fuel tank and driving up their fatigue-the single greatest determining factor in who will win if ask me. There’s not much more you can ask for in a forward, except for more offloads (think Corey Parker). Other than that he’s virtually the most well rounded forward in the competition- there are other forwards who are more effective at specific skill sets i.e Cameron Murray as a ballplayer, Tariq Sims on goal line defence, David Fifita on pure robust combustion, but as far as most well rounded forward in the game right now, only Payne Haas beats him. Maroons jersey absolutely deserved, what an Honour, will serve it well.
