I'm a boater and just returned from Ghana, specifically to explore River/Lake Volta, in Sogakope. The river is divided by the dam, which makes the other side of it a lake, so technically you're both right.

Awesome video. In your introduction, you stated that lake Volta is the largest man made lake in the world. Respectfully, that’s false. The largest man made lake in the world is LAKE KARIBA.

By area, not by volume. Lake Volta is still by far the world's largest lake in covered area. It is 8500 km square while Lake Kariba is only 5500 km square. Although Lake Kariba contains more volume of water because of its depth, it doesn't cover as much area as Lake Volta.
