It’s the culture folks. Be in your kids life, fathers. If there’s no positive role model, the chances of being a criminal sky rocket. It’s the #1 reason for the struggles of this group. Not the government, not another group of people. It can only be fixed by the people themselves.

There’s way more to his story. The incident with the girl on campus he was dating it was alleged that after his game he found out that she was cheating on him with the backup Quarterback Scott Frost. Lawrence Phillips snapped and Scott Frost hid in a closet

Uhhh... that is still not a good reason to assault someone bro LOL. "nah its cool he beat the breaks out of multiple women, they were cheating"

Such a tragedy. Clearly CTE. Not to mention textbook Labeling Theory. I wish he had more support. The Coach crying cutting him shows he wasn't just an evil soul. So gross how everyone used him out of all to create a monstrosity. History truth is never written or known.Tatum was worse and lived forever! No one talks about him! True mud.

Well, they wound up trading for Marshall Faulk in 1999 so...

Yes, but they wouldn't have HAD to get faulk if they didn't throw this pick in the trash.

The only tragedy that occurred here is the amount of looking the other way everyone did considering how bad at football he was except in B and C tier football leagues. Guy shoulda been out of football and in jails years before he actually was from the sounds of it.
