- SSSUUUPPPPEEERRRR Excited to share this!! I believe this archetype could be low key great!!! Please, let’s work together to make this great! I’ll be the Mimighoul ambassador we deserve!!!!!
Comment, lemme know what WE as a community can do to perfect this deck!!!
Played this at my locals last week but I played fiendsmith and super poly in it. Came in first with no game losses. Pretty nifty deck.
Nice! What did your list look like?
Nice deck! Basically what I’ll be running, but just with ghostrick night as another spell/trap target. Just means they cant flip summon the mimighouls on an empty board.
Personally, i think that the ghosttrick package is too bricky. Plus, it uses up 4 extra deck spaces, id rather use those spaces for other staples.
@@manchovieclemmons2380 what have you been playing instead of the ghostrick stuff?
The knightmare griffon lock is the wave btw.
@@billnye6291 yyyeeahhhh, saw this in a profile!! Do like!!
Mimighoul master doesn't seem non negotiable at 3 at all. It's arguable that you even need 2. You need like a perfect 5 card engine hand going 1st to ever use it in you hand.
Fusion parasite, one for one, millennium eyes restrict, tistina engine, dogmatika ritual
@@ImNotEvenGudBreh a couple of these seem really gimmicky, I am already on one for one. Why Tistina? With rituals I’d prefer prediction princess probably lol
@MatthewBlackarouis well, dogmatika ritual has a continuous spell, dogmatikamatrix, that removes up to 11 cards from your opponents extra deck if they control a monster. The parasite fusion with one for one is honestly very good and reliable
@@ImNotEvenGudBreh interesting, do you have a list built? I can always test :)
@@MatthewBlackarouis I can see what I can do. Waiting for edo to populate the mimighoul
@ImNotEvenGudBreh it’s in there now, I was playing this afternoon :)
Shiffter? 😮
Absolutely! Best hand trap in the format and we don’t need the GY.
Reverse Reuse could also be good as well to pick 2 flip monsters from your grave and summon them to the opponents field
@@pkmnlover3812 that’s something to consider!
What about running Floodgate Trap Hole and Trap Trick? With the field spell out, you flip their first Special Summon and lock them out completely
Not bad! What would you take out though for 6 slots?
@@MatthewBlackarouis Honestly, I forgot you were playing Thrust in this build, so you would really only need the one copy of floodgate to set off thrust if they ash the field spell search.
Mimighoul Vernusylph with a Naturia package. Seems pretty good with limited testing.
@@lankeysob I saw people adding Vernu, not Naturia though 🤔
Karma cannon is a very strong trap but I do not like that it flips your own ghouls face down, I’ve been a trap heavy build with Dogmatika punishment and needle ceiling. Needle ceiling is especially good because it won’t pop face down ghouls and or master as long as there’s at least one FD monster or a ghoul on your side
@@xxphantomthief94xx nice, what’s your list look like?
3 archfiend 3 dragon 1 master 3 shifter 3 nib
3 dungeon 2 maker 1 terraforming 2 prospy
3 room 3 imperm 3 solemn strike 3 dominus purge 3 needle ceiling 3 punishment 1 azurune
I recommend trying a more hand control build with cards like fire sorc, summoning curse, and you can even yata lock ur opponent with it being searchable under small world (which is generically good in the deck)
I feel like these are more gimmicky builds. You need to ‘gamble’ makers effect for fire sorc, curse effects both players, and you special more than you think.
@@MatthewBlackarouis But you can choose to not pay the maintenance cost of 500 LP during the Standby Phase of your opponent's turn and get rid of Summoning Curse before it starts affecting you, if you have set the trap for their turn. You can set up the Mimighouls while the spell is on field and comfortably end on a normal summoned Master and Dungeon field spell, while ripping your opponent's hand.
Summoning curse + archefiend + talents can be a 5 card hand rip, id say thats worth not specialing. If you have the trap, you can hit whatever they draw as well. What were you going to special summon that was worth not doing that?
@@MatthewBlackarouis fire sorc isnt a good option imo, but definitely consider summoning curse. You can special summon up to 4 monsters to your opponents field on your own turn, and 1 on your opponents. Archfiend and talents supplement this very well, giving you a way to completely secure a win going first, and rip their handtraps while going second.
My only issue with summoning curse is it’s useless unless accompanied with a good hand, kinda like a win more card. Maybe good going first as a side option?
Youve got to play 3 summoning curse!
Not in the main, I’ve made a new build now which I’ll update, but it’s terrible if you’re going second, so I side it :)
Is making these xyz monsters really better than just making ip, little knight, and the new rabbit card? You have to run a brick in your deck for the ghostrick engine, but that uses 5 extra deck slots. The new link rabbit basically accomplishes the same thing but using less extra deck slots.
It also opens up more room for other tech cards. The lyrilusc rank 1s, ty-phon, an extra zeus, apollusa, even borrelgard if you want a quick effect flip down. Utopic drago is a good card, but i feel like the utility of extra deck cards should be valued more.
@@manchovieclemmons2380 thank you! Love the feedback. What would your extra deck line up be? I have the rabbit and also Azurine (the statue thingy) so I could run these.
im gonna try running the vernusylph engine and see how that goes
which has started to go up in value probably because of this deck
I'd fought against this deck yesterday and got destroyed!
Swords states that ‘flip effects cannot be activated’, so Book of eclipse would work better. Also, shifter is not gonna help you play as the graveyard is needed.
As far as I’m aware swords does trigger flip effects, I’m not sure where you got that from? Care to share? Book of eclipse wouldn’t help as that flips cards facedown, when flipped face up they resolve and transfer to you. D shifter is fantastic in this deck, you really don’t need the Graveyard, and it REALLY hurts the meta.
Swords of revealing light does not state that? And shifter doesn't hurt that bad compared to how much it can hurt your opponent. You can play without maker in grave
@uvoyt couldn’t agree more. I think Shifter is a staple in this deck, it’s VERY bad for the opponent.
Thats a mandela effect dude. Swords does allow for flips to activate
@@xantiagoraco been this way since Goat format 😂 that’s why I asked where he thought that was the case from.
best idea is take out all the mimighoul cards and replace them with spright cards
Piss off lol
😂
@DjentleYGO he’s an irl friend, and a cheeky fucker 😂😂
@@MatthewBlackarouis I honestly think he's got a good point tho, in terms of the deck power.
@@MatthewBlackarouis I still like to stick with Mimighoul myself nonetheless. 🙂
