You should do some research on going darkside on motorcycles. Thousands upon thousands do it. I used to think the same thing as you until I educated myself on it.
I currently have a 2009 Yamaha royal star Venture which I like for long distance riding but I'm thinking about getting a Victory Vision do you still have the bike and what do you think of it for long distance riding?
I'm sure you have figured out by now that car tire isn't very good on really curvy roads. That bike handles great on curves. The lean factor is crazy. Hi wouldn't ride curves with that tire. Just my opinion.

The speedo says 180 because it switches electronically between miles per hour and kilometers per hour. 180 kpm equals about 112 mph.

Im 5'11 and 280 and my wife rides with me and she is about 180. The bike has no problem with the both of us on it. Mine is a 2008.
