Ghosts of Cold Christmas | Thundridge

The ruins of the little St. Mary's Church or Cold Christmas Church are surrounded by little else than the tales of tragedy and the spirits that remain. The sight remains one of the most prolific haunts in Hertfordshire.

I USE GO THERE WHEN I WAS YOUNG BEEN UP STAIRS NEVER SEEN OR HEARD ANYTHING DONT LIKE SEE FENCED OFF

I have been there several times. You used to be able to get inside the church then it was all boarded up to preserve a rare species of bat that was roosting there. The metal barricades shown in the film must be relatively new.

Thanks for the comment. Interesting, I didn’t know that was the case. All for preserving the tower as it’s quite badly vandalised now.

@@CallOfTheDarkVideo it must be 5 years since I was last there. The church at Clophill in Bedfordshire has an interesting paranormal history. I liked your video, it is well made and I posted it in my paranormal group on Facebook. Followers of the group like videos like yours. 😊👍🏻

@@CallOfTheDarkVideo I wrote a book called ‘The Haunted History of Huntingdonshire’ and have a Facebook group by the same name. I have a sister group too called ‘Haunted History’ which is where I posted your video. I tend to post videos that in my opinion are of a high quality and are less than 15 minutes duration. If ever you need a good location give me a shout, I know some fantastic places in Huntingdonshire (Cambs), which have never been filmed.
