    Kudos for keeping those suckers together without tape or something, and for it matching even after tilting separated! Thats awesome!

    Holding the canvases together is a great idea. I guess I've actually never seen anyone besides you do this. The other diptychs I've watched were all Dutch pours with blow dryers.

    I would totally flub it up if I didn't hook them together with clamps or something... I love that purple shade. If I'm mot mistaken you made that from 2 paints. You should definitely note that recipe down as it is gorgeous in the pours. It would be amazing in a galaxy pour. I wondered if you had blown on the white center if you could have coaxed more orange or other colors out... I love everything you do! Travel safely... see you in the next video💟💟💟

    Really cool! Is it possible to make back splash tiles? Maybe 12 at a time connected as a group then take them apart so they can pour over the sides of the tiles? Have been wanted to see this method with tiles since that is my next project in my renovation kitchen. Absolutely love the dirty pour technique. ❤️🎨

    am I not surprised you have blue and purple sitting around?!)

  • @kbowler9266

    The paint you layed down first made an interesting background. Have you poured using another dry painting as part of the new painting?

  • @Angie_978

    4:25 interesting how the little details grew after your "we'll be back in a minute" comment.
    Have you ever done a canvas and a frame set? Like a frame for a photo with a perfectly sized canvas inside and poured it as one piece with the intention of having an art piece and a picture frame to hang separately.

    Isn’t tryptich 3?

    • @Barblooms
      @Barblooms 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Dyptich is two. Some artists use “tryptich” as a phrase to indicate multiple works which “match.”

    • @ValeriePallaoro
      @ValeriePallaoro 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're correct. However, the description uses dyptich, so, I would guess she knows. As B Lewis says [but really?? do some artists not even know??]

    You use silicone bowls for mixing you paint so why do you still use plastic cups? Plastic cups take 450 years to decompose. The chemical bonds of plastic cups make them durable, but also resistant to breaking down. Overtime, these cups release toxic chemicals into the environment and are more likely to be ingested by vulnerable marine wildlife.

    • @ArtisticallyRandom
      @ArtisticallyRandom 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      She is transitioning. And the fact that she is using even I silicone (reusable) when she wasn't 2 months ago shouldn't make someone want to criticize her... unless someone is well off, I don't think anyone would just jump from one to the other overnight...
      And ps, 90% of all man made products are dangerous to the environment in either the making or useing or decaying processes... the item you use to view these vids aren't going to hug any animal and keep it healthy...

      Tina - Artistically Random Why don’t you let Mixed Media Girl answer for herself? Paper cups are better than plastic.

    • @ValeriePallaoro

      @@jennivanrooyen5963 Paper cups are not reusable like plastic; and people get to stand up for what's right. Are you doing this? Should I go to your channel and see how you use paper and wood for every-damn-thing-in-your-life? We are not all in the same place. So, just give it a rest.
