However this guys strong accounting background should be sufficient to be proficient in managing a real estate holdings. He now needs to find a good deal which he can bring investors into. Rich people have very little time or patience to find deals. A young guy can do this hard task and manage it. Yes, you will be doing 90% of the work but getting the capital is critical.
