Super polished video! Wonderful Job. 👍🏻. Love these little old British roadsters. They all seem so tactile and full of spirit. Would love to see a longer drive video in this.
As others have pointed out, the carbureted version of the TR6 that North America received resulted in significantly less horsepower, with a 0-60 time somewhere in the double digits. But driving one of these cars with the top down - the wind in your hair and the exhaust note ringing in your ears, such things didn’t matter all that much as the overall experience was still so visceral and fun.
I used to wear them when driving mine. Mind you, it was in a prodsports class race, and my hands used to get quite sweaty, can't think why! enormous fun, but i never had any money while doing it, no sponsors involved and we'd chew thru a set of road tyres in a year.
I thought the reason that they started wrapping steering wheels in leather was to eliminate the need to wear gloves (sweaty hands and polished wooden steering wheel rims were not a particularly good combination).
Nice car, nice sound, nice editing, love the red gloves

A dream car. Please do all the British sports cars, MGB, MGA, Triumph GT6, MGB GT etc.
Love this car!
Beautiful!
👏👏👏
Good video! Nice job👌
Now I just need a 40 minute version!
This video has a US spec car with Stromberg carbs so 104-106 bhp NOT the 150-125 bhp of the Petrol Injected cars quoted in the video
Lovely car but unfortunately the North America Market didn't receive the 150bhp Pi version. That was reserved for the UK and Europe cars.
Yeah thank God - the PI versions were problematic - carbs - No so much !
Used to get my fuel injected set up at TRGB in Cambridge, when i got back to Devon it needed re setting 😕
Don't feel too bad this video has a US spec car with Stromberg carbs so 104-106 bhp not the 150-125 bhp of the Petrol Injected cars
Gotta......wear........the........gloves.😂
