I always recommend them to Sylosis fans because it bums me out nobody knows of the album/band.

You should go listen to the album Gehenna Gate by lucis absentia, Sylosis is prob my fav band to and that album is phenomenal, it really scratched the Sylosis itch for me when they were inactivate, closest sound to them with out sounding like a Rip off. Band is completely unheard of but I always recommend them to Sylosis fans.

Die-hard fan of both bands here, for me Trivium lost their raw energy, speed and power after 'In Waves', while Sylosis still fucking delivers every god-damn time. I think Trivium has changed too much over the years and for me in a more "mainstream" way, which I don't like as much as their earlier stuff. I still own every album of them.
Crest Fallen yeah I’d agree. I still prefer old Trivium like Ascendancy to Shogun but I still love their new stuff as well. They definitely got more mainstream but the music is still good imo so I’m okay with it
This song was SO good but also slightly disappointing for me. I felt everything in the song was amazing but there was this feeling that they could have even taken it to another level after that ending, the ending was amazing and cut too short for me. They really could have taken that ending and built onto it. Nonetheless, a very good song and it shreds hard.
