I was moved by the Holy Spirit after watching this episode. I was battling with bone tuberculosis, which was getting stronger every time it came back. I lost all hope of getting better and have a normal life again. I always dream of getting married and have children but that too I was afraid to even think about it. I'm 34 and I see no hope. This passed Sunday, I watched this film and I was reminded in my heart, oh so clearly that Jesus came for me, to take away all my sorrows and illness and pain. My heart filled with gladness and I cried and cried. I was made whole again all my pain and illness are gone, just like that. I cannot explain in words how happy I feel then and now. I will always be a witness and will give my whole life to Jesus and His kingdom. Everyone reading this, may God bless you and renew your hearts in Jesus Christ. Amen!

I loved it !!! Thank you. I was sad to find not one biblical movie on TV on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day here in Perth Western Australia until I saw this on TH-cam. It is exactly what we need. We are the light of the word. Don't let the world turn to complete darkness. At least not while we are here housing the Holy Spirit in our temple (body). The Chosen has refulled the lamp in my heart, and brought peace and joy.

As the Shepards finds Jesus, i just sat there full of tears, both with the sorrow of this earthly life, but with a heart suddenly filled with hope of something better to come. Even though I've heard this account of the Holy night many times before, seeing it layed out like this, suddenly opened my eyes, to become able to understand just how amazing this is, and the greatness of God.
I've been a Christian all my life. But until about a week ago, I didn't understand the love of God. It brings me to tears. I only just now understand. I'm in an outlaw motorcycle club, about to be 33 years old, and I fear my time is nearing an end. That I'm supposed to do something for the Lord and if I choose that path, it will lead to being a target for the enemy to take me out.

Same here .. I am up to date through S2 E7 (just last night) .. But had not witnessed the pilot until just minutes ago .. The tears from my eyes have yet to stop .. In some ways, I have felt like the lame shepherd for at least the last 20 years ..
Well done! This is how Bible films/shows should be done. I think you did a great job NOT showing the angels but just the light and a strange otherwordly noise.
I think it would take a huge budget to show angels in their supernatural form and do them justice, it was wise to have them off screen for sure. Also better to not take away attention from the core of the story, aka Jesus ;)

Amazing film. You feel like you are there with the shepherds. The cliff hanger question at the end is perfect. It reminds me of the words of Christ: Seek and you shall find; knock and the door shall be opened to you. This is obviously a God inspired film. What a blessing for all who watch this. I love the expression of The shepherd when he heard the prophecies read by the scribe. But what really brought tears for me is the last scene when the priest asked the shepherd on the unblemished sacrifice. -> he showed expression that he has found the sacrifice, JESUS... Happy Pesakh, everybody...

I am a Pastor of a local church in Hoedspruit South Africa, I am trying to bo obedient during this time of lockdown to keep His church full of hope and light by sharing Him - JESUS. I am moved in my core by the Holy Spirit while watching this pilot episode. I am weeping and rejoicing cause of what The Holy Spirit overwhelming me with God our Father's heart(love) for people(broken, hopeless, rejected etc. the list goes on). May Jesus be glorified and through Him eyes and hearts opened and transformed. I pray for this ministry.
I have watched all the first season one through eight and this will be my fourth time. The depth of all the characters brought to life is nothing less than astounding. I have studied the Bible since I was a small boy with many periods of going where Angels would not go but still, like a dog, I come crawling back. Never has the Gospel come to life like this, in the history of film and books save the One. May God bless all of you involved in this treasure and keep you all safe.

It not important to know exactly the date when Jesus Christ was born. A faith is strong enough that there was a child born for the salvation of mankind.
Mennx De Gabrenam people think it may have actually been close to Passover as sheep have their lambs around April . And that would be the only reason the Shepard’s would be out at night for lambing. I could be wrong. Ut it makes sense
The message of the gospel is for all occasions not Christmas.....for some reason people get all spiritual around christmas time then forget about jesus the rest of the year....this is what happens when you follow traditions of men......

This movie moved my soul. I was moved when the lame shepherd ran like a deer. He leaped with so much joy... just tears... tears of overwhelming joy. "We are fighting for this for so long... i must go, people must know." -Gospel "For us to us a child is born, to us a son is given. And the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His Name shall be called Wonderful Couselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His goverment and of peace, there will be no end to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness for this time forward and forevermore."
I could never really put myself into a movie about the birth of Jesus. This simple beautiful it was just the way I would picture it would actually be without all that Hollywood stuff. It was True to what I would think actually happens without the glitz just to show what happened in the most simplest form as it should be.
I never get tired of watching this!👐❤️🕊 So grateful to God for what He has done and continuing to do through The Chosen. I remember watching The Shepherd years ago and how it blessed my heart so profoundly. May all the world come to know Jesus. He truly is Wonderful and time is short.
I pray this t.v show will come. We need it more than ever today. If people don't believe, that is their decision. We just dust off our feet and move to the next town as it reads in the Bible. It needs to be told and the film made with as much enthusiasm and excitement as when the Lord's angels came to the shephards to tell them of the good news. The spotless lamb that was sacrificed. Amazing film. You feel like you are there with the shepherds. The cliff hanger question at the end is perfect. It reminds me of the words of Christ: Seek and you shall find; knock and the door shall be opened to you. This is obviously a God inspired film. What a blessing for all who watch this. I hope this film comes to television during Advent or Christmas Day. Thunderous Applause. A job well done. Bravo.

I love the expression of The shepherd when he heard the prophecies read by the scribe. But what really brought tears for me is the last scene when the priest asked the shepherd on the unblemished sacrifice. -> he showed expression that he has found the sacrifice, JESUS...

I am a Pastor of a local church in Hoedspruit South Africa, I am trying to bo obedient during this time of lockdown to keep His church full of hope and light by sharing Him - JESUS. I am moved in my core by the Holy Spirit while watching this pilot episode. I am weeping and rejoicing cause of what The Holy Spirit overwhelming me with God our Father's heart(love) for people(broken, hopeless, rejected etc. the list goes on). May Jesus be glorified and through Him eyes and hearts opened and transformed. I pray for this ministry.

I loved the depiction of the Angels coming to the lowly shepherds to announce His arrival.

I have watched all the first season one through eight and this will be my fourth time. The depth of all the characters brought to life is nothing less than astounding. I have studied the Bible since I was a small boy with many periods of going where Angels would not go but still, like a dog, I come crawling back. Never has the Gospel come to life like this, in the history of film and books save the One. May God bless all of you involved in this treasure and keep you all safe.

This is one of my favorite versions of the Birth of Christ. I love seeing it through the shepherds eyes of the redeeming love of our Savior, even as a child. When we turn to him, we are united and wanted

Mennx De Gabrenam people think it may have actually been close to Passover as sheep have their lambs around April . And that would be the only reason the Shepard’s would be out at night for lambing. I could be wrong. Ut it makes sense

king bibibear Got some prayer request for you Brother. I've been witnessing to an atheist. I believe that the Holy Spirit is moving on him so please pray for his soul that he will receive the saving blood of Jesus Christ.
A Brother in Italy is asking for prayers. He and his family are under persecution there due to their faith in the Messiah. I told him I would ask as many as would pray.
Another has lost his daughter due to a drug overdose. He and his family are in mourning. He doesn't know what her soul condition was at her passing, but he is continuing in the faith.
This is just a few of many.

I can't watch this enough, and every time tears. When he offers Mary water to quench her thirst, was it that simple act of kindness that aided his handicap to be healed as he ran to the first sight of Christ? I love this..
I am here after watching Season 1. I can't explain the experience but that I am in tears now. Just cant wait for Season 2 to air. Thank You Dallas and the entire team for giving us this amazing experience, we are blessed. I pray that the whole world will turn to Jesus. Amen.

This movie moved my soul. I was moved when the lame shepherd ran like a deer. He leaped with so much joy... just tears... tears of overwhelming joy.

I could never really put myself into a movie about the birth of Jesus. This simple beautiful it was just the way I would picture it would actually be without all that Hollywood stuff. It was True to what I would think actually happens without the glitz just to show what happened in the most simplest form as it should be.

If people don't believe, that is their decision. We just dust off our feet and move to the next town as it reads in the Bible.
It needs to be told and the film made with as much enthusiasm and excitement as when the Lord's angels came to the shephards to tell them of the good news. The spotless lamb that was sacrificed. Thank you Lord.
