Thank you so much. The story Tamar realy inspires me to go on trusting In the Lord. May God turn my life around so that He uses me in the way that will bring glory to his Kingdom. God I trust in your plan for life. Amen.
I thank God I found this page this is my second story the first one I listened to was Joseph. I’ve been looking for African Biblical Stories and I finally found it. 🙏🏾 😊
I am thoroughly blessed the sharing of biblical truth from my own people of color. I have subscribed to listen to more. God riches blessing be upon your ministry.
Almost forgot the story of Tamar. Thanks, since the lineage of Yeshua is the main reason the old testament was written. Ruth , Esther, and Mary were also brave woman who braved possible death and in his lineage.
It's interesting that you did not say Rahab and instead added Esther (Ishtar) who is not mentioned in the oldest Biblical scrolls. A woman not mentioned by Jesus and the apostles, and God is not mentioned in Esther. It's not your fault. The religious leaders go to college and study this and don't let the congregations know. Look up the only book of the Bible not found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. ❤
Beautiful naration, thought provocating story, reassurance of Gods mercies. Thank God for his mercies. I can relate with this and Leah perfectly. Man may fail but God doesnt fail. I am indeed more than a conqueror.
"....demonsrrating that God's plans often involve unexpected people and unconventional paths". We see it with Tamar as it relates to Judah and the linage of Jesus Christ. We it with Rahab in that same manner. We see it with Abraham (and Lott) and their divergent paths as cousins in the book of Genesis. Edit: Divergent paths, as in they had to trust Abba Father and go their separate ways.
Amazing video! The content is informative, relevant, and so well-organized. Your voice is both professional and pleasant, enhancing the overall experience. Keep it up!
Tamar is from Elam and Aram houses who are from the line of Shem not Ham. When reading other books like Jasher, Jubilees and The Testament of Judah we get more information than the regular 66 books of the canon Bible gives. Other details of the situation can be found in these books as well but I won’t give it away.
00:14:17 Bathsheba’s name is not mentioned in Matthew’s genealogy. He says, “the wife of Urias” instead of naming Bathsheba. This is important because the honor falls to Uriah and not to Bathsheba to be included in the genealogy. If David had not had Uriah killed (due to his betrayal and Bathsheba’s adultery), then David and Bathsheba would not have married, and had Solomon, who was also apart of the Messianic line. Also note that like Rahab and Ruth, Uriah was a non-Israelite who converted to following the Hebrew God (Uriah the HITTITE). This kind of conversion required a lot of faith, much like Rahab and Ruth. So Uriah’s righteousness, faith and sacrifice were noteworthy in the genealogy, not Bathsheba’s adultery. “and Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;” Matthew 1:6 KJV
Whoa!!! It’s so symbolic that Perez changed the order just as Jesus changed the order for everyone 🤯 Matthew 19:30 First become last and last become first Tysm for this vid 🙏 God Bless You (and everyone reading this).
Hmmm, maybe Tamar was one of the Shechemite women taken by Jacob after the rape of Dinah. Judah's friend, Hirah, is not mentioned and could have been a great influence on him . David had a daughter named Tamar. ❤️
The Book of Jubilees Chapter 41:1 Judah took his first born Er, a wife from the daughter's of Aram, named Tamar. Aram is a descendant of Shem not Ham(Canaanite)
You must listen by the Holy Spirit and know God's words to understand His ways and how HE WORKS! Our simple human minds can not grasp or comprehend His thoughts and ways nor his will and purpose. He is in control and reveals what you can not see, nor hear, nor understand without Him. You will miss it completely! Without God, the Father and our Lord Savior Jesus Christ thru and by the Holy Spirit, who teaches and guides us in all truth in and from Jesus Christ!!
Tamar story is more about God's story in what He did and doing! Look to Him on what He is saying and what must we learn from Him about Judah and Tamar (Genesis 38). Don't focus on the race, location, or flaws, but GOD'S WORD and what HE IS DOING and what you need to learn from Genesis 38
I’m wondering why Tamar had to wait for years to get married to the last son of Judah, who she was clearly older than? Why didn’t she demand her bride price be returned so she could remarry?
Great video, but Judah did not "distance himself from his family and live among the Canaanites." All of the Jews, from Abraham to Jesus, lived among the black Canaanites. Ever notice how one of the disciples was a black Canaanite? Please stop reading Gentile (white) theologians' writings and read the Holy Bible as the history book that always tells the truth...❤
@@tnholley8569 Judges 3:5-6 said Israel married into the Canaanites. Even during the days of David, Bathsheba’s husband was called Uriah the Hittite. Hittites are Canaanites. And Uriah was fighting in David’s army. When David had him killed, God sent a prophet with the parable about the old man and ewe lamb. The old man who was wronged in the parable represented Uriah. And God put curses on David because of it. And Uriah the Hittite (Canaanite) will forever be in Jesus’s genealogy.
How do yall gain knowledge of these stories like this? The parables and knowing things about what Joseph did and what David did, I want to be that fluent of the Bible but I’m a beginner, I only know scriptures but how can I understand the story where do I start if the Bible isn’t in chronological order
This was also the case with Perez and Zerah. Many times you see things keep repeating themselves within different generations of the same blood line. It’s intentional
Why did she take it into her own hands instead of handing it over to God for him to bring justice? She used deceit to enact her own vengence and this is praised? I guess this means I am free to be passive when my enemies seed are handed over to the reprobate as a statement of justice. Between the corrupt inlaws, cops, judges and all the gossips that sure is a lot of seed! This also shows yet again, God has favorites by the same story of Jacob and Abraham being liars and God turning a blind eye.
God can do WHATEVER He wants with His creations. He can do WHATEVER He wants to! He’s God, we are not. What are you going to do, stop Him or tell Him no?
It was politically decided by Constantine 300 years AD, just as Yeshua described true worship was polluted. It was also decided that all Biblical pictures would not be correct in that white people were put in place of people who lived in a time and place everyone was black . In Yeshua's time there were black white and mixed romans but Abraham and his decendants were all black. Christianity opening to the white people happened after Yeshuas death. There was a large debate about it by the apostles after he rose to heaven , I believe that Greece was beginning to be mixed and Rome was mixed. Moors still lived in Spain and Italy. The last Pharoahs of Egypt were Greek. Cleopatra was the last Pharoah and she was Greek. I saw some cions from her time with her image on them. She absolutely was not a pretty woman and the makers of this coin did not like her she was hideous,. But to answer your comment white people in the Bible were a political decision to make it look like the barbarians were the actual leaders and God's chosen people when this just wasn't true. The northerners' Germainia were mentioned once but were called barbarians .
I love that it was mentioned that the fact that she had to go through all of this, exposed the societal structure that left her vulnerable.

Could someone clarify. Not sure if I missed it. How exactly did she become pregnant if she was only given his garments?
He laid with her, but didn't realize who she was.

A woman who was widowed twice, was unlikely to remarry

Another nation appropriated our history and our prophets told us another people would pretend to be us.
Why AI produced African images. They were not from Africa.
Then where were they from?
The entire Old Testament took place in North Africa.
