Great episode as usual. Just regarding the jet ski, invest in a bilge pump for this exact reason. Also when towing a jet ski be sure to crimp off the water intake hose to stop water backwashing through the exhaust into the engine.

15:00 some time ago I watch some YT video that there are some "ship" ANCHORS which you connect to your winch, throw away in the sand and you can easily get out.
Its called a winch anchor or ground anchor.

Great video. I have been to Brown Lake long time ago and it was really brown and uninviting. Are you saying that nowadays it has also a nice inviting beach section for a swim ? I love Straddie and visit it quite often.

Hi, Just a question. The inland track starts starts near the Amity turn off ends at a paved road. Is there a turn off to the left somewhere before the end the track that leads to the beach ? I have driven this track, but missed the turn off if there is one. Cheers. Ian Mac

I own a 3.5 nomad (not a high side), did you have to do anything special to mount your 25 Yamaha to the back? I was thinking about doing the same thing for skurfing

Really sick, I got a 3.7 fairly deep hulled tinny with a yamaha 25hp, did the tinny you guys used feel safe in the open water and in the breakers? cause I never even considered taking it on our beach trips
