  • The inaugural Black Rock '5', held in 1987, was won by Gifford Kerr - ahead of 66 other finishers - extremely low by today's standards.
The race is pre-entry only with the field limited to approximately 1000 on the night. The race has sold out each year since 2011.
The course record belongs to Jamie Crowe of Central AC, in a time of 21.51

Thanks, I wasn't sure how it was going to come out as there was lots of people showing interest in the drone and what could be seen on the screen, which I usually don't mind, but there was a lot of distraction. At one point I had 4 people all trying to see the screen at the same time and I even had to ask one of them to not lean in front of me because for safety it's more important that I can see where it was flying than them. 😂

There's an old video called Eagle's Eye View Of Glencoe. It will be on TH-cam somewhere. Perhaps you could do a drone version of it.

@@albystrawman3504 Thanks for your kind comments, unfortunately I just fly the drone as a hobby and Glencoe is a bit of a trek from my neck of the woods. If I'm ever out that way I'll keep it in mind though.
