Thank you so much for that video. I have never fixed a pull start in my life. Thanks to your tutoriel, i was able to make it first try. The last step makes the all process so cleverly simple!
I just did this on my 1/8th Scale Thunder Tiger Pro EB4 S3 -28.. Talk about AWKARD..... lol As of 2024 my car has ONLY run 10 Minutes from Brand new, because of the Pull Starter. Now it is Fixed. Thanks for the Video
Yes. 55cm is fine. You will find that if you use a longer cord, there will be too much cord on the spool and it won’t wind back in smoothly. It will catch when trying to return.
Hello. If you send your address to me at my email Rcscrapyardspares@gmail.com I will send a new spool to you. The 3D printed version was created as the originals are no longer available so we know they won’t be as strong but it shouldn’t break that quickly. Cheers

I'd like to know which direction the oil hole of the Conrod faces on the Thunder tiger pro12 bx engine. Thanks.
It faces towards the carb so that as fuel is drawn in, it can enter the hole and lubricate the big end
Hope that helps 👍
@@RCScrapyard I thought so. It looks like the previous owner put it on the wrong direction. Thank you.
Which pull starter will matches the thunder tiger engine 1/10 scale ?
55cm is enough for bigger engines? In my case, hpi 4.6 and losi 454 both .28 engines.

@@RCScrapyard Nice Thank's
I just got one of your pull starts off eBay and because it was 3D printed the the little hook part that holds the spring on just fell off
